QFX PBX-153SM 15" Bluetooth Rechargeable Speaker with LED Party Lights, Microphone and Stand (2021 Model)

I recently bought this speaker as a replacement bluetooth speaker for when people ask me to " bring music, or could you do some music for this small xyz " (hence the dj part of Amazon name). The previous speaker that I would use for these type of emphasis on small get together where I didn't want to really bring my "real" or full equipment set up finally gave up the ghost and the subwoofer on it died. It was an FX 500 something bluetooth speaker with wheels, again it was OK for what it did (I may see if I can get a sub replacement but thats another review), amd lasted for about 8 years. Point is reading some of the reviews on this QFX bluetooth speaker I would've thought it was the cheapest speaker known to man, glad I took a chance and bought it on sale at about a 40% discount because I am pleasantly surprised that its a solid and well built 15 inch speaker, it has wheels and a come with a stand that takes a little configuration but is very portable.SOUND QUALITY:Now to the important part and address the reviews who say the sound quality " has no bass" This speaker like many of its other " all in one" bluetooth/ karaoke siblings comes with a built in pre-amp, eq, and amplifier, so to get the best sound out of this speaker for any type of Club, Hip Hop, or Dance music you are going to have to cut the treble and boost the bass both on the 5 band EQ and also adjust the separate bass and treble knobs to have the bass almost at Max or near max and the treble about halfway, doing this gave me the sound quality that is acceptable (actually pretty good) for the music I usually play which is Hip Hop,R&B, club and Reggae/Caribbean. That being said 1) the manufacturers answer that this speaker can handle about 45 - 50 rms at I'm assuming 8 ohms is probably about right. What does that mean for non speaker or dj people, it means this sub 200 dollar speaker won't cut it for a major banquet hall gig of 300+ people or for a serious outdoor event that has to cover let's say a park area. If that's what you are in the market for do yourself a favor and maybe invest in some JBLs or EVs, or any high rated speaker brands. Expensive speakers are expensive for a reason, but for small house gatherings or cookouts, I think getting this speaker, prefably on sale is a good deal. I'm not sure getting two is worth it for me even though you can sync them via bluetooth, because I have a set of powered 15 inch speakers that can handle about 100 - 150 watts steady each already. The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant to purchase this item at fitst, only due to the unfavorable reviews Id read. I actually was afraid and crossed my fngers as I plugged it in & turned it on for the first time. Well, I had no need for fear at all...Because this SPEAKER IS AWESOME! EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY, ACTUALLY CRYSTAL CLEAR SOUND. Perfect for our small outdoor patio get-together of 10 to 12 people for our Annual Outdoor Halloween Bonfire/Karaoke/BBQ Party within a very vast, huge but very quiet Suburban Housing Subdivision where every noise echos for blocks. It was just perfectly loud enough for us. We played the music for up to 4 hours, it was quite loud on the lower volume we kept on not to disturb the neighbors too much and have the police called. Just see the photos of all of the very vibrant bright NEON COLORS! And a video of the sound with the lights moving to the beats.If you're being wary about purchasing this don't be!BUY THIS ONE WITHOUT HESITATION! Please trust m,e this is a good investment, especially for advet Party& Event Throwers like myself.

Expected an item that was destroyed. Was supposed to be a gift. Beyond that…. The sound quality was awful. I get better audio out of my iPhone. Take my advice…. Find something else. Also, they do not accept returns or exchanges.

I like the fact that it has a decent sound after you adjust the bass treble and other settings, however but the radio part is very poor but I never listen to that part anyway, I can play music from my phone and my friends and family lives it.

The speakers are of great quality but the stands are not made very well. not after a week of having them, they broke. I have been having issues with contacting the manufacture. To get them replaced!!

We love this speaker! For the money it is amazing! We bought it for our baseball team and our back yard. It works perfect for both! Highly recommend!

Speaker stopped working after only using a few times, not happy at all

It sounds very loud ,it’s easy to assemble and I use it for parties no more need to spend money on a DJ if this does the job..
