Yes, this solved the torque converter lockup issue on a 2019 Dodge grand caravan that woukd stall at first gear.

Just installed and so far has worked without issue. Exact match in shape and plug for OEM part I removed. Not a complicated job to replace this, but not the easiest job. I will update this if I end up having any issues. I am just glad the van no longer dies when I stop.

This device works great. I had an issue with the car stalling when going into drive as well as running really rough and requiring really hard brake application to keep it stopped when in drive (if the it didn’t cut off first). Replacing this fixed both of those problems. There’s YouTube videos that show how to install it. The device itself is just one plug and one screw. Super easy once you get to it. It‘a a match to OE and requires not modifications. I would definitely recommend it. Instantly fixed our car’s issues.

My 2015 Caravan R/T would stutter/stall when downshifting to a stop. I thought this was the end of the transmission, but after researching, many users had similar issues (no fault code) and replacing the solenoid was the fix (along with replacing the transmission oil, filter and pan gasket). About 100KM driven today and no issues at all coming to a stop, in fact stopping is so smooth. This is a small price to pay instead of getting the valve body replaced ($400-$500 DIY) or worse, transmission rebuild or replacement (thousands of dollars). My van lives another day!
