Can this be used on vinyl shower curtains?

I have only used it for soap scum and water marks on glass. When needed, I use Tilex on the wall (and previously on vinyl shower curtains.

How do I take care of the smudges now that they are on my mirrors? This product doe not work like I thought it might.

I never wipe the glass. It works great for me without it.
