Fundamentals of Abnormal Psychology

I got the book with a renters sticker on it even though I bought it. It confused me so I called Amazon and they were confused. Other than the confusion and that whole process to figure it out, the product was good. It was in good shape and it was useful.

This is the most affordable access code I could find on the internet. I unfortunately overlooked that it was technically an "outdated" code, as when I applied it to my 9th ed. Launchpad, I was unable to get access. I emailed MacMillan, and they gave me access to the 9th edition because I couldn't afford a second code.Heads up to all, this access code (8th ed) won't give access to the 9th edition Launchpad (unless you are fortunate and email them, and they grant it to you). Otherwise, great product! Valid code, worked as it should.

The book I got is in great condition. It was supposedly an older book that was never sold, so - new. That is not true. But it is in great condition.What I am upset about is the specific listing that I purchased my book from stated that it came with the access code. That’s the reason I bought this specific book and yet it did not have the access code. I have to spend another $30 for the code separately.I was suspicious of all of this but I bought it anyway so joke’s on me.

This was supposed to provide access to online supplemental material for the textbook. Unfortunately, the class / instructor was not in the system, which was required to register the code.

This is my first college textbook that I actually took the time to read. My professor was very low tech, so there were no lecture notes, no PowerPoints, anything. This book is so wonderfully organized and interesting. It is full of information but isn’t too long either! I love it and I highly recommend it even if you don’t usually read your textbooks. It is updated for the DSM 5, so that’s a plus.

I've used kindle textbooks and digital textbooks before and the format of this one is slightly frustrating. There are no page numbers and no adjustable settings to get the actual text page numbers. Very impractical for a textbook as students need page numbers to cite. I am hoping my professor will accept kindle's version of "location" number but this is very much a fault on the publisher's part.

It’s usable but the Cover was torn - should I return immediately? I’m kinda anxious about so i’m leaving this for sake of prosperity

I rented this textbook on kindle because the course I am taking has open note/book quizzes and the kindle book is searchable so it makes taking those quizzes a whole lot easier. I also bought an older edition of the same textbook so that I could have a paper version on hand (reading that way is easier for me). The kindle book is easy to work with off my laptop. I have no regrets.
