Orion Must Have Been Thinking of Me While Developing This Model
This is the first pair of binoculars I have ever owned that did what I always thought binoculars should do: magnify bright and clear. Until this one, all binoculars I ever had before used up too much light before getting to my eyes. This Orion lets through plenty of light, which makes a big difference. I could cry, I am so pleased. With every pair I ever had before, the degree of magnification was always at least a little disappointing. But this Orion magnifies quite a bit more than I expected. It is so powerful, you do need a tripod sometimes, depending on how you are using it. I have also used it free-hand, and, man, it gets out there. Also very pleased with the eyepiece arrangement that allows for either with eyewear, or without (yes, if you normally wear glasses, you can see sharply through this Orion without wearing your glasses, or, with a single twist on the eyepieces, you can leave your glasses on.

The only Binos you’ll ever need.
These binoculars are perfect for getting to know the night sky. The price is fantastic and the clarity/magnification is optimal for star gazing. They are easy to focus, light weight and comfortable to hold. I’ve been using them to scan the sky to locate Messier objects to better align my refractor. At first I purchased Celestron 8x56 and 9x63s. These binos cost about $100.00 more than the Orions. I live in the suburbs so the extra aperture didn’t give me a lot of value. It just added more weight. I can easily make out the smudges of M11, M13 and the Andromeda galaxy from my Bortle 6 skies. If you’re looking to get into astronomy or need a great pair of binos these are the one!

These aren't as big and as powerful but have really good light transmission
I bought these as well as the Celestron brand to compare. These aren't as big and as powerful but have really good light transmission. These are fully multi coated and the Celestron are just multi coated. I can definitely tell a difference in star color and sharpness when used at night. The right eye piece focus adjustment is a bit odd compared to others I've used and seems a bit difficult to tell at what point is in focus. They attach to a tripod very easily and make them more steady. I've used them without a tripod easily. The eye relief parts "screw out" instead of having flimsy rubber "rings" that fold back etc. I like it better. Will last longer than the rubber style. The carry bag is nicely made and comes with a micro fiber cloth. They don't weigh too much to hold for extended periods of time (at least for me).

Wow!
Wow. I figured i needed to upgrade the 7 x 35 binocs that we've had around for a while. looked at the reviews (thanks to all for those reviews). I had just bought an Orion 8 inch reflector telescope and it was amazing, so, given the positive reviews on these binoculars, i took the plunge. As soon as I looked through them, i knew they were amazing. When I couldn't get them out of my wife's hands, I knew that I had to go order another one. These are seriously good binoculars, right out of the box. a few hints. the quarter turn eye piece adjustment was a bit sticky but i forced it loose and is now fine. the rubber eye "hoods" can come off (when forcing the quarter turn eye piece adjustment) but they slip back on. really really good quality

Very satisfied. Had to write a review.
These are wonderful binoculars with an unbelievable 10 year warranty. The image quality is sharp. I've looked through other binoculars that are very hard to focus and the night sky looks like pea soup. Not the case with these binoculars! I use them when reclining in a zero gravity lawn chair and although they are a little heavy, they are easy to focus and comfortable. These are definitely my go to binoculars when I'm not using a tripod. 6.5° field of view is perfect for open clusters and deep sky objects. I have viewed the Pleiades, the Andromeda galaxy, the Perseus double cluster, the Orion nebula, M13, and the moon with these binoculars. You'll never believe how many stars are up there until you've looked at the Milky Way through binoculars. One very memorable experience was looking at the total lunar eclipse with these binoculars. Everyone agreed that they had never seen the moon looks so three-dimensional like it did through these binoculars.

Better than my Vixen Ascots
Better than my Vixen Ascots...never thought I'd see the day. I've had my Vixen Ascots for many years and I bought my Orion 10x50s as "companion" binoculars for when my young nephew visits. It turns out the Orions are actually better. Orions can resolve Polaris B and Jupiter's brightest moons fine but but my Vixen Ascots cannot under relatively light polluted skies of Chandler AZ.

Way out of alignment
Been waiting to pull the trigger and get these for years. Finally bought them, very fast shipping, decent price. Wow, fuzzy images, left eye had a red shadow outline on images, right eye had a blue shadow. The eye piece assembly was quite wobbly, touching the with your eye would throw off the focus. Surprisingly not very bright images. Maybe they got rough handling in the UPS truck, but Orion is only 60 miles away. I sent them back next day. Fast refund though.I bought a pair of Nikon action extreme instead, $20 extra. Very happy with those.
