How metallic and shiny is it ?** A: Not at all. It says metallic, but not like shiny metallic. I bought 3 different ones, and this one was very dull compared their other one, Rust-Oleum Bright Coat Metallic Color Spray, 11-Ounce. No comparison. That one came out shiny like a mirrored metallic finish! This one, very dull. I will be posting pics with comparisons. **Q: I'm looking for a smooth coating that's not too shiny. Will this do the job? Thank you.** A: It is definitely smooth. Shiny is more subjective. I think this is a very attractive finish. It has some shine, but not "too shiny". This finish has a subtle sparkle effect. So it is definitely not dull. Again, I've been extremely happy with it. **Q: Is this glossy, satin, or matte? Thanks!** A: I would have to say a matte finish but because of the metallic, it has a sheen also.
