Bought this to replace the battery on my Dyson. After owning the vacuum for over 5 years, the original battery finally and rapidly went from allowing me to cover most of the house, to only lasting for a room and a half. Bought this one as a replacement and surprisingly, it was already charged. Easy to install with 2 screws. It fits the wall charger and full house vacuum capacity has been restored. Have had the new battery for only a week, but so far, so good.

About the only difference from the original battery I found was that the blue light on this one goes off after fully charged, whereas it used to stay on on the original as long as it was plugged in the charger. Not much of a problem.Discharge time seems comparable to the original.Like with all replacement batteries, the key is longevity in terms of number of charge cycles - too early to tell on that. Giving the benefit of doubt now with 5 stars. Will update if less than expected.

I don't think this is a 4.5 ah battery, but it appears to be as good as the oem battery so far. Great price compared to the oem,

We replaced the original Dyson vacuum batteries in our three Dysons. The originals lasted about three years of recharging. These lasted about one year.

I did not know it was so easy and the suction was like I just bought it.

I feel like they sold me a used battery. Its been 4 months since I bought it and the battery it’s already running low. It never really worked that great.

Our Dyson was lasting a minute or 2 at best, even considered replacing it, but thought I would try this battery. What a money saver, works like it’s brand new!
