Water doesn't quite stay in these, but they are realistic looking and definitely kept the birds away. Move them ever night before bed for the most success. My neighbors have a bird feeder and the birds in our duplex were waking us up each morning. If anything it kept birds more quiet, and less on our balcony.

These are exactly what was described and the quality of them is very good. The detail is excellent, the price wasn’t low and they were easy to set up…… But they don’t even slow the hawks down from trying to eat my chickens. If you’re buying these to scare small birds away they will work, but the hawks are bigger than these owls and I think they just laugh at them as they swoop in to carry my chickens off!

The heads do not stay in a centered position facing forward and they do not turn very well with the breeze either. Less effective than what I expected. Ducks and geese have figured it out quickly.

I was skeptical but it is keeping the birds out of the back yard. I move the Owls once a week to a slightly different spot so the birds won't start ignoring them. They look great and I have come black river rocks that I placed inside the base and they aren't going to get blown over because of wind. I was so surprised, I have not seen any new bird droppings after I got these owls. I put one on my Bar B Que and the other on the picnic table in the back yard.

Ok, the pair of owls, don’t old people buy this stuff🤔😂😂I wanted something to detour birds and squirrels from my newly planted plum tress that are producing just a little bit of fruit🤞🏻so for about $23 bucks I got the “golden” pair, they are a little over 10 inches in height.. they are on the smaller scale, price about $10 an owl, I like that they looked the most realistic than others advertised, their heads swivel, so I didn’t have an issue with that, I stuck one on the end of a dowel and just placed/ shimmied the other in the ground. It’s been breezy, but both have stayed upright, even with my snazzy set up of some chicken wire and irredescent ribbons, those little s***s are still getting my fruit.. I had about 8 now I’m down to 6🤦🏼‍♀️..so are they worth it.. idk… they aren’t tacky looking, their eyes are bright, their heads swivel, their talons look realistic, they look like they are perched and they are decent size..so I really thought it would do the trick…but all of its a no go for my “ hope this works” ideas…give it a try, maybe you’ll have better luck than I did..I still think for the pair it gets 5 stars and I would recommend👍🏻

My husband got these to scare off the pigeons on our roof and it worked. One of the pigeons didn't seem to buy it and moved from our roof to the neighbors but eventually that pigeon left. I will say my husband did have to move the owls around maybe 2-3 times for all the pigeons to leave.
