D-tap 1x4 Power Splitter Hub with Reverse Insertion Prevention Adapter for VMount Battery

This works great. We're using it as a power distribution block on the shoulder rig. It's powering a BGH-1 and a little Atomos Ninja via a V-Mount battery. No complaints. Not all of these splitters have an integrated screw and I imagine those are harder to mount. I also like the power indicator LED.

I love sticking this on a cheese-plate and knowing I'll have enough dtap power distribution. Solid enough to always work good enough.

This unit is a super useful tool to have in your bag. When building a camera, occasionally, you run into a shortage of D-Tap ports, between the follow focus motor(s), external monitor, wireless transmitter, and many other possibilities. This seemingly simple item helps to ease that restriction on your build, allowing for a much cleaner and simpler option to get the power you need. My only gripe, and why it is a 4-Star review, there is a small light/led in the D-Tap male end that indicates power, but that always draws power when plugged into a hot power source, and can be distracting in super low light environments.

This cord does exactly what is supposed to do. It turns one DTaP power source into four. The flat head screw also has a finger tightening mechanism that allows you to tighten it onto your rig by hand which is very helpful.

Works as expected! No complaints.

Absolutely love this D-Tap splitter! The design was well made and I loved the fact that it had a little handle on the screw to hand tighten which was extremely useful!

Nice product. Designed to route plugs properly away from each other. No wasted material taking up space. Seems to be good quality and robust.

I'm really pleased with this item. Clever design and good construction. The LED power light is a great addition. It was reasonably priced too and posted promptly. Really can't ask for more.

I have made the mistake of purchasing two of these, and both of them failed within the first couple of months of use. I recommend you look elsewhere; I have been having nothing but problems with Zitay products.
