Q: Mine came with a 1 3/8” mounting collar (not 1 5/8” as advertised) Has anyone actually installed this on 1.5” pole? How?

1 3/8 of an inch is the correct measurement. We apologize for any confusion and are working to have this information updated.

Q: Does this come with the pole?

The feeder I bought, by itself, does come with a pole. The squirrel guard does not. Happy Thanksgiving!

Q: Does it open up to fit over a shepards hook pole?

The baffler does not open up wider to fit over a post. It would be slid on from the top or bottom of a post.

Q: How do you mount this on the pole? Can it be placed on an already firmly in place pole?

This baffler can be mounted to any pole that is 1 5/8th inch or less in diameter. The mounting bracket can be slid down the pole, attached into place and baffler placed on top.
