Disappointing quality from ugreen

I am changing my old review because after using the phone holder for 4 months only, the button you press to release the phone does not work anymore and thus the whole holder is to be thrown away. My old review is below: The phone holder is amazing. Did not face any problem with it so far. The only thing you need to take care of is if your cup holder is for 2 cups and there is an opening in between. In this case, you need to maneuver a bit with the phone holder to fix it well.

A distanza di mesi dal suo utilizzo posso dire che il prodotto è comodo e valido, si inserisce bene in qualsiasi porta bevande (io ho una Bmw i3S) e risulta stabile e ottimamente orientabile per ogni esigenza. L’unico sottile difetto che ho riscontrato è che con il passare del tempo e l’uso quotidiano le molle che ritengono e rilasciano il telefono un po’ si inceppano e volte. Però al momento tiene tutto bene! Speriamo duri anche!

My Nissan Frontier NP300 has two rectangular cup holders with a space between them - who thought that one up? The three expandable pressure points of the UGREEN cell phone holder make it work for this unusual cup holder design. Only drawback is you might bump the phone with your wrist while shifting into reverse (on the Frontier standard transmission reverse is far right and down). No big deal - it is easy to reposition.

I bought this model in spite of the Jan 15 review talking about the ball and socket. Now that I have it I like everything about it. It is doing what I want - put the phone in a good spot for viewing maps hands free. Regarding the ball and socket - the trick is to not completely remove the nut before you snap in the ball. If you leave the nut on a couple of threads, then snap in the ball, it will tighten properly. If you take the nut right off, it is almost impossible to get it back on without cross threading. Till I assembled it this way I had the same issue as "Nomdeplum". Recommended
