Oversalted Chilis Cooked in Vinegar
The first time I tried Sambal was in Curacao. It was homemade by the Indonesian restaurant chef in Lemongrass, Bluebay. It was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it. This tastes like oversalted chilis cooked in vinegar. I also tried the Conimex Sambal Oelek which was equally horrible.
