I had recently bought these same clothespins with the lacquer finish on them and did not like the smell. I contacted the seller who was so easy to work with and she exchanged the lacquer pins for unfinished pins. These do not have the smell and are the best clothespins I have ever used. I now own 3 sets. I only need 2 pins to hold a pair of jeans and they do not fall off when I am walking from the laundry room to the bedroom. I actually have to unclip by opening for them to come off. I wish I had known about these clothespins sooner. I had old clothespins from my mother that I thought were great and I was having a hard time finding anything like that but these are even better than the old pins. I highly recommend these for anyone that really want clothes to hold. They are worth every penny for them. I will probably buy some more. I imagine they will last longer than I will.

I bought these to use as clamps for various project because they were made in the US. Wow! After using cheap Chinese pins all these years, I am impressed with the quality of the Heritage clothespins. Full width spring, quality hardwood with no inclusions, very uniform in appearance and fit. The clamping pad areas of most cheap alternatives fo not fit and mesh well, these do. There is a massive difference between these hand crafted pins and all the others. You get what you pay for.

Made In The USA!!! These are as good as the clothespins on my mother’s clothesline in the 70’s. I do not remember any of them breaking. I use mine to clip chip bags, coffee bags, and even big dog food bags. These clothespins are bigger, thicker, & stronger than those years ago. No China breaking clothespins here ! My children always say I expect things to last at least 20 years. USA products DO last considerably longer than China products! They meet and exceed my expectations! I grew up with USA made everything. That is why I ordered these wonderful clothespins! You will not regret ordering these.

Great quality clothespins. Prefer the non-coated because of the unpleasant odor from the sealed clothespins. Used both during the February arctic blast to securely fasten sheets around my plants. They all held great. The coated pins were somewhat less smelly after their time outdoors in the elements. Very pleased with the purchase.

These clothespins feel nice. They're thoughtfully made. I can't believe that I bought artisanal clothes pins and that I want more. They're worth the price. Thanks to the maker for meeting a need that I didn't even know I had!
