So disappointed
So disappointed. Our last exact unit was great for 3 years then the water started leaking into the discarded pod container. I put up with it 3 months until it was total backflow into the discarded pos mixing with them and none going forward. What a mess. Bought this replacement and tablespoon of water at least of back flow into the discard pods right from the beginning. I imagine this would be gone in 3 months. Returning it and going to try and take a chance on the grand Verismo and hope the quality control is better on this machine. Fingers crossed!

A total hassle and poor design
K-Fee is just not Keurig. I’ve been to 100’s of hotels and never had an issue with putting the pod in any Keurig machine. K-Fee on the other hand is a hassle. The pods don’t set well in the machine. The coffee does not come out of the dispenser (in runs down into the pod collector). The machine constantly clogs and they instruct you to run a steam cycle to unclog. This is just a maintenance nightmare and an annoyance in the morning when I just want a good espresso.

Most important to know -- mine completely quit working properly after 3-4 weeks
After 3-4 weeks, the preset sizes quit working. So I got out the manual and found "how to reset the presets" or whatever. Well, I did what it said to do -- I'm anal about stuff like that, so definitely know what I'm doing. Didn't work. Called customer service and got walked through what to do ... "Uh huh, uh huh, I did that already but I'll do it again, etc. etc." Didn't work, and never worked right again. Hit "return" and rushed to the UPS dropoff and am done with this product. BYYEEEEE!

GOT $4-$7 for a cup of coffee AT HONE?
I did my homework on this machine befire I purchased. I was impressed with the look; I was impressed with the functionality. HOWEVER, nowhere did I read a notification or review that warned the buyer about what type of coffee pods were compatible to thus machine. Price if brewing system comparable to Keurig (I have one … brand new and I get tepid tea water when I brew a cup of coffee! Needless to say, I have PLENTY of K-pods.I received my K-FEE TwinII system today. As I opened the box, a slip of paper fell out first. It advised the buyer that thus system required ta pod, specific to the K-FEE brewing system; the Starbucks “Verisimo” pods were the ONLY compatible pid to tge K-FEE system.NO PROBLEM, I tell myself (despite the fact that I have a boatload of K-cup pods. I happily go to Amazon to irder the appropriate pods. Of all the K-FEE pod listed m, only the decaf were available in the K-Fee store thru Amazon … $51 for 24 cups of DECAF coffee? I never order DECAF espresso, Latte, or Cappuccinos. A) I don’t care for the taste of decaf coffee and B) I drink coffee mostly for the fact that it helps me stay alert and focused.NEXT: I’m in the Starbucks store on Amazon: Verisimo pods are $98 for 24 single serving pods … that’s nearly $4/cup … more research to discover if that price goes down with a larger quantity of pods purchased. NOT … price is $469 for 72 pods! NEARLY $7/cup! To drink a coffee treat AT HOME!? I don’t pay that much for a coffee treat at a fine restaurant, unless I have ordered an alcoholic beverage.I’m going to return this K-FEE brewing system to Amazon and demand a refund. How unfortunate every single serve brewing system that makes specialty coffees has a pod specific to that brewing system, EXCEPT KEURIG. I’ll stick with my stove top brewing system for coffee treats & heat my tepid tea water coffee from Keurig in my microwave. Thanks.

Best customer service ever!!
After 7 months I started having a small issue that if I had to, I could have lived with. I contacted customer service and they were very interested in helping me through the issue. Rather than giving me the run around or tell me to send it back and they will fix it or anything, they sent me a new one. I highly recommend the machine itself and even more so now that I know customer service will stand by their products. Thank you K-Fee.
