The sound insulation is of very high quality.

This was not what I was expecting, however, it does put a nice picture on the wall, but I don’t feel it does any kind of soundproofing

We have an apt connected to our house by an internal door. We could hear the tenant, even though they weren’t loud. I used one piece of 3M Velcro to adhere it to poster board ( so it could cover more area and quickly remove if I needed to access the door). It’s been a few weeks now and I’ve noticed a significant improvement, and not one piece has fallen.

Used these to help with reducing the outside noise in my office but does not help at all. Product does not make any difference in the noise

The 12"x12"x0.4" panels actually measure 11.75" x 11.75" x 0.25". If your use case requires more accurate measurements, as mine did, this will matter to you.

Easy to install, looks good . No chance yet to see if they work as a sound proof or not.

They work and help suggested by a contractor because I’m sensitive to noise being a veteran.
