** Make sure to calibrate your battery! **
When I first received the battery, I was getting a pretty poor charge out of it (as bad as if not worse than my aging Note 4 battery). Before leaving feedback I made sure to contact the seller, who was very prompt and courteous in their response. If there is any one thing I can fault (and perhaps I just missed where this is written down), there were no instructions on calibrating the new battery. From PowerBear, with edits by me:HOW TO PROPERLY CALIBRATE YOUR NEW BATTERY:1) Turn off your phone.2) Remove the original battery from the phone and replace it with the battery you want to calibrate.3) Turn on your phone.4) Charge your phone until the battery is at 100%.5) Let your phone battery drain to 0% until it automatically shuts off.6) Repeat steps 4 and 5 at least 2 more times.7) Your phone should now be calibrated to its new battery.I've been through 2 complete charge cycles (draining the battery completely and then charging to 100%), and am now getting approximately 48 hours of battery life on a single charge, possibly a bit more. I charged my phone completely on Saturday afternoon (probably around 3 PM) and have not plugged it into a charger since then. With moderate usage (Skype, phone calls, occasional web browsing), I'm now at 50% on Monday morning (10:14 AM).I went from being disappointed to very impressed with PowerBear's quick response and attention to detail in their instructions, not to mention the battery life I'm getting. I don't normally purchase aftermarket batteries, but this (so far) is absolutely a better buy than attempting to find a legitimate Samsung battery. If my experience changes in the next 6 months I will be sure to update this review, however it seems that others have had solid lasting performance with these batteries.I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a Note 4 battery replacement.Notes: I do NOT use Fast Charging so I can't comment on this battery's ability to cope with it. I don't think Fast Charging is good for the life of the battery (used to heat my Samsung battery up quite a bit, which is not good for batteries). Anecdotally, I also noticed that the lifespan of my original battery greatly decreased in short order (1 to 2 months) after Fast Charging was enabled. I leave it off and will continue to do so.I *was NOT* compensated in any way for this review (discounts, free product, or otherwise). I purchased this product at full price with my own money.

UNACCEPTABLE!
We ordered this battery on 6/13. It arrived a few days later. My husband followed the enclosed calibration instructions and we had my phone up and running. Perfect! His phone battery died on 6/20. We immediately ordered another PowerBear, with 10% off the price. It arrived 2 days later, with no calibration instructions this time. My husband tried doing what he did with the first one, with no luck at all. We contacted PowerBear. They said we would get a new one and we could keep the defective one, just give them the order number. Well, the order number was right there on the email they sent back to us, but we complied. A few days later, we get another email, asking if we had calibrated per instructions. Yes, I told you that the first time. Then we get another email asking for the original order number! I replied, saying I had given them both to you already, but here they are again. This morning I sent yet another email, asking where's my battery? It got here in two days last time, what's the holdup? We need both phones working. This is totally unacceptable! It is now 7/5 and the phone has been down since 6/20, waiting for a replacement battery. Something extraordinary will have to happen for us to change our opinion of PowerBear and their products/customer service!

Caution (You've been warned)!
Charged immediately upon receipt.Heats up and drains at an accelerated rate after 90% is remaining.Sometimes hot when charging/discharging and other times cool.First 3rd party battery replacement for my Samsung Note 4.Update: Bloats up and overheats distorting the shape of the Note 4 damaging the phone. (Just replaced the phone again and finally realized what this battery was doing)I would not recommend this seller and/or product to anyone - Never received any response from Powerbear!

Battery is okay, be suspicious of warranty
Mixed feelings on my experience with this product. The battery performed well for about 18 months, exceeding performance and longevity of the OEM battery. At that point it rapidly deteriorated to the point my phone would shut off when showing a battery charge of ~60%.The battery has a 24 month warranty, so I initiated a claim with PowerBear. While their initial response was prompt, once a replacement was approved, I was ghosted. I was informed that the replacement would ship within 5 business days; after eight business days of no contact, I sent another email inquiry. It's now the tenth business day and I still haven't heard anything. At this point I would not recommend based on their failure to follow up and honor the warranty.

Then it started charging and has worked like a champ every since
Ran it down to nothing my first use, to properly condition it. Couldn't get it to charge in the phone until I held it snug to the contacts. Then it started charging and has worked like a champ every since. In its first few cycles, it gets a solid 24 hours of moderate use before needing a re-charge. After the first couple weeks, its ability to hold a charge is greatly diminished. Without a power saving mode, I get perhaps 7 hours on the charge. Not Impressed.
