I was looking for a citrus squeezer that would not explode in my face. The previous one I bought at Whole Foods snapped in half the first time I used it, sending things flying off my counter. I was furious that a product that is supposed to do one simple thing not only cannot do it, but is dangerous as well.So, I returned the pieces, and looked on Amazon for a better squeezer. Every one of the recommended ones had reviews complaining that they weren’t sturdy, the handles bend or break, or that they come apart at the hinges. I knew there had to be something better, but could not find it.Then, I found an online review of citrus squeezers that recommended this one. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is sturdy and functional. The handles are thick and do not bend at all, the hinge is heavy. This one should last. It also has a built-in seed strainer. It isn’t super-easy to clean, but it isn’t difficult either. The kicker is that it doesn’t cost any more than all the garbage ones out there.Why Amazon showed me a list of cheaply made, flimsy squeezers when this heavy-duty one exists in their store for the same price, I have no idea. I highly recommend this one.

Produto muito bem acabado e robusto. Tenho expectativa de que tenha alta durabilidade. Possui um projeto diferenciado, para que se possa espremer o limão com o espremedor apoiado na mesa/bancada, tornando a operação mais confortável, segura e de menor esforço. O suco extraído fica num compartimento inferior, que possui um bico de escoamento para tirar o líquido. Nas primeiras vezes, você estranha, mas depois se acostuma e vê que é muito mais funcional e seguro.É caro, mas vale a pena, especialmente para alguém que, como eu, espreme limões diariamente.
