High quality
This kit has phytoplankton and copepods. The phytoplankton is a deep rich green. Plenty to feed a gallon jug culture. The copepod population in the jar is immense. Very active live culture. Also plenty for a gallon jug culture.

good and bad
First off I can say everything came alive. Also I have ordered from here a few times with no issue. This time though there wasn't nearly as many tiger pods as I thought there would be. I could count maybe a couple dozen of them, they are big and easy to see. I was hoping to see more of those kind. There was definitely a lot of tisbe pods though. This time around 3.5 stars. *edit, I put these in a grow out container for a few days. There was a bit more that were noticeable.

Bad value, no customer support
There’s way more affordable options out there and I tried to cancel the order a week before it shipped but they still shipped it anyways.

Copepods-Preliminary review
Very preliminary review as I've only had the copepods for a couple of weeks. There were live pods swimming in the plastic bag. Not a huge amount but I ordered the smallest amount so I assume I recieved what I ordered. I let the bag acclimate to my sump and poured them in.I really haven't seen any since. I have the curly plastic bio media in the sump so it's hard to find them if they are still there. I have looked other places and have still failed to find any. Granted, they are very tiny so it makes it difficult in a moving environment, but I will continue to look for them. At this point it's hard to tell if they are viable and a good purchase for my soft corals and my blennie. I will update if the conditions change.
