Mimgo Store High Speed SDXC SDHC SD to CF Compact Flash Memory Card Reader Adapter Type I

I used this adapter plus an SD card to upgrade an old iPod Mini. With help from YouTube instructional videos, the entire process took about 20 minutes and I was able to increase the capacity from 4g to 128g! The process is dead simple, use a thin metal spudger to carefully pry off the top and bottom covers, remove two screws on top and pry off a retainer bracket on the bottom, then slide out the motherboard. Replace the old hard drive with the CF adapter plus SD card. Reverse the process, then hook up the iPod to iTunes to reinstall the operating system. Done!

it is ok. It works and all, but the SD card goes in the side of the unit. I was hoping it would slide in and out from the top so I didn't have to remove the CF card to get the SD card out of the slot. I would not have purchased this if I had known that the adapter needed to be removed to get the SD card out. I just got a bigger SD card so I can plan on not removing it ever.

You loose a little write speed, but unless your constantly limiting out the buffer on your camera in burst mode, the difference is not noticeable. It does allow you to read SD cards on a CF only card reader(which is like $2 something)

A very good way to save an old camera. These work well and using these to be able to save an old camera that still works was super.Using the new SD memory that I have a ton of is inexpensive way to keep those cameras going.

It will not work in my camera it keeps saying card error..

Garbage, don't waste ue time buying from china, just add 10 more bucks or so to purchase something better at best buy, this one came broken i wouldnt waste 3 to 4 weeks pf waiting time for something possibly or possibly not broken, just buy good adapters for like 20 to 30 bucks it worth ot unlike this junk

Card fit a little tight but works fine.

This adapter did not work for me in my Compact Flash player in car music on sdcard went in and out

I used this to provide wifi connectivity to my old camera. Did the trick. Construction is better than expected.Worth noting that there is a very questionable FCC logo on the back of the card if that type of thing bothers you.

Original order never arrived but the company resent it and it works nicely. The package claims 90mb/s but transfers slower than my 10mb/s card; so not really suitable if you're planning to use it for burst shots on a camera but otherwise I'm satisfied.
