I was a bit worried I would have too much gap between the sensor and magnet on some of my windows. I had almost 3/4" on some windows. But these work fine. There were other reviews that these fell off the windows causing false alarms. Time will tell if this is a problem, but they seem to stick pretty well. If they fall off I will just silicone them in place. That is how the old sensors were applied. The old sensors were so sun baked they fell apart when removed by the window replacement guys. For the price these can't be beat. I bought a second order to cover all my windows, 34 in all and didn't have a single problem. It helps if you put some solder on your wires if they are stranded, or use a punch to push into the sensor before pushing the wire in. I did have some problems pushing the wires in on the first few. The wire wasn't stiff enough to shove in so I started soldering the stranded wires to make them stiff and to hold them together. I later found that if you just push something small in first it opens a small clasp so the wire goes in with no problem.
