Perfect for switching between two computers that need to share a common ethernet cable for two very different systems. Although only a simple switch, likely could flip it back and forth 100,000 times and it would still work, unlike other el cheapo models that fold up in 6 months of casual use.

I needed a kill switch to repeatedly disconnect a laptop from my network. This device works perfectly. It is very sturdy and well made. There are pads on the bottom of the device for better traction and the switch is exactly what I wanted (You can add more descriptive labels for A/B. I opted for attaching adhesive labels instead of writing with a sharpie directly on the surface.) Old school retro feel from the 80s. Again it works well and there is no effect on data transfer speed when introducing this device on an ethernet line.

This switch works perfectly to air-gap a desktop computer with the simple flip of a switch.

I wanted a kill switch to switch off internet from my computer. I prefer ethernet over wifi on my desktop. But it was a hassle to constantly shut internet on and off using the "my connections" profile. This does it with a flip of a dial! Exactly what I wanted!
