Q: Can I make the backlight key colors to one solid color or is it just stuck to dumb meaningless rainbow colors for little 9 year olds?

The RK920 keyboard uses a rainbow backlit. Please find the difference between the rgb and rainbow: RGB has programmable lights (any color) but rainbow cannot be changed. Rainbow is only the colors shown in the picture, in that order. Rainbow cannot be changed. RGB can be changed.

You absolutely can! They even include a tool for it.

No, RK920 is not hot-swappable. And we do sell hot-swappable keyboard like RK84. RK68.
