Mega Construx Destiny Fallen Walker

This set looks amazing when built. Looks pretty authentic to the game. A couple of issues...We build a lot with Legos and appreciate that Lego numbers all the bags and the instructions tell you which bags are necessary for each step. Mega-blocks doesn't do that. Be prepared to have a workspace available to dump every bag out into a big pile. It seems pretty random how they bag the pieces.Once it's done it looks great but if it's for a child to place with, the legs will constantly break for sure. Just adjusting them to make it stand up causes the feet to crumble apart. It's perfect for placing on a shelf as a showpiece though.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these pieces. I've always been a LEGO person, but these are very comparable. They are a nice alternative as LEGOs have become exorbitantly priced. There are several differences though. The Megas seem a little more formed to what they are intended to build. The result is a more smooth and detailed build, but reuse-ability may be affected. The people pieces are more intricate and detailed, but also far less durable. The only con to this particular set is that the leg joints seem to loosen quickly making it harder to get the piece to stand.

The kit unfortunately arrived with a staggering number of missing parts (over 60 out of 690 pieces were missing, including the "Ghost") and many other parts incorrectly coloured relative to what is needed for the complete build.However, Mega Brands' customer support service were very friendly and cooperative, and sent replacement pieces free of charge within a week of the issue arising, so overall I am satisfied with the product and would definitely buy from this range again. The finished kit is a picture-perfect match compared against the in-game version, and makes an excellent display piece for collectors.

This is a great set for fans Destiny. The amount of detail is incredible. Very true to the game. Took a few hours to assemble and all the pieces were there; even a few extra small ones left over. It's a pretty technical set with some jointed parts that are tough to snap together so I don't know that it would be good for really young kids. Also I'm not sure that it's a toy that could really be actively played with as some of the parts will easily come off if you're not careful (not quite as sturdy as LEGO sets). This retails for 60, so the person who said it was 120 must have seen a third-party seller listing shortly after release when they were running out of regular stock.

Quality of the set met my expectations. Not quite Lego brand quality but really good. Whole set took about 3 hours to put together. Some of the images in the instructions could have helped being shown at a different angle but wasn't to hard to figure out. Only gripe I had was the way all the blocks were packaged. They were sealed in like 12 different bags. I had to open up 10 of the bags for a block by Step 7 (of 75). Definitely would recommend for any Lego/Mega Bloks and/or Destiny fan out there. I will be buying a couple more (already ordered Atheon set).

Fun build for the most part. The way the head piece is instructed to be constructed was odd and a little annoying. The highlight is the light up brick and weapons. I also like the hunter figure. The paint on the weapons seemed off but it doesn’t look bad. The light brick is cool but the way it’s built in makes it hard to see what it’s trying to aluminate. Though it is implied so.

This turned out to be better than I had hoped. We've got almost every Halo set made, but really had been looking forward to the Destiny kits.This one didn't disappoint. Not so big that it's annoying, but big enough to be detailed. Sides open in multiple points just like the game to let enemies out, the cover on the "head" comes forward and inside is where it's lit, just like the game.For any Destiny fan, this is a must-have.

Bought for $70. I didn't think this would be anything amazing. Man, was I wrong! This thing is awesome! As an avid Destiny player, Destiny has "taken" (get it? lol) a lot of hours out of life these past 2 years. As soon as I saw this was available on Amazon for it's retail price, I bought it. It took me about 3-4 hours to build. It was frustrating but worth it. It looks exactly as it does on the pictures. There was one piece that was cracked and made the one of the feet loose, but over all A+. Atheon is next on my purchase list. Definitely recommend this!PSN: Bam_bam_boogie
