So cool!
My son was using a bunch of these to add to play dough he was making and selling at the local farmers market and they turned out to be a great hit! This color changed from blue to a lighter violet color when we put an ice pack on top of it. The kids loved it!

I purchased the Black - Yellow 82 degree thermochromatic powder for a large project at the library. We used the powder to make color changing slime when activated by body temperature. I contacted Atlanta Chemical Engineering LLC to make sure I was purchasing the correct temp powder so that it would change just by body temperature, and not by heating or cooling with other catalysts. The product works wonderfully! It is black when on a surface (bowl, table, etc) and turns bright yellow when held in your hand! Be advised, everyone has different body temps, so if your hands are cold, it might not change for you. I had the kids place the slime on different body parts (hands, arms, neck, forehead) to see how the color changed. FYI forehead works great and the kids think it's hilarious!Overall, what a great product! The customer service was fabulous! If you have any questions, please contact them first before purchase because they can advise you on your particular project.

This color changing powder is AWESOME. I love the science behind it
This color changing powder is AWESOME. I love the science behind it. My 11 and 14 years old daughters were so excited to make slime with it. They were fascinated how it changes color and entertained for hours trying to find cold and hot objects around the house so it could activate the color changing process. I would recommend this product to all parents. I also like the fact that it came in a durable plastic container, did not make a mess at all when we opened it and we have left over to use for our next project- color changing nail polish.

BEST Color Changing Pigment for Slime
It is not easy to make stretchy slime but with a few tries with my kids, we finally did it. I was adding too much Borax and that makes the slime not stretchy but easy to break. I dissolved 1/4 tsp Borax into 1/2 cup water and added only half of this liquid to the glue and pigment mixture. We used the other half of the Borax mixture to dip hands when touching the slime and it made it less sticky and very stretchy. My kids were so happy with the final slime. I would recommend Blue-Violet changing at 72 degrees.
