Too small
Ridiculously small, bought large to be on the safe side, total waste of money

Don't stay on - tape is better

Not hooked
The quality is not what you would expect for the hefty price tag, they are essentially 2 pieces of stretchy fabric that you put over your thumbs, but the stitching leaves no confidence in the product, and after using them less than 5 times you can see the stitching is already coming loose. The stretchy material loosens very promptly as well, and you will eventually find them slipping off your thumbs during a workout. They do help with hook grip to some extend and prevent some damage/friction to your thumbs, but considering the quality and the price tag I would not recommend them, I opted to return these through Amazon, and I will just use chalk, and tape if needed. If you can find some tight fitting gloves you could just cut the fingers/thumbs off them and put that around your thumb instead, it would be a lot cheaper, and would most likely last longer than this product.

Better than expected
I'd been on the fence about picking these up for quite a while, however after wearing them for a few workouts I'm pretty impressed. They do what you'd expect, which is protect your thumbs whilst hook-gripping the bar. Whether this is from callus build up or just reducing the pressure slightly on larger sets of something like heavy clean pulls (which, for me, are the most painful exercise for thumb pain!). In terms of quality, I have read people saying they look cheap and there are quite a few threads hanging off them, but I'm not sure these are actually going to cause an issue - they seem pretty strong and durable. If they were to break quickly I'll come back and update this review.

Useful alternative to tape
My second pair of these after the first ones wore out after a year or so.First thing is, they're much shorter this time.Don't know who's doing the measuring, bit they're significantly shorter. They also are smaller and quite hard to get on.However, they do work, and, if like me you hate using tape, they're alright
