Missing nut
The gauge works great and fits fine. The only issue is that it did not come with a nut to secure it to the lid of the canner. My old gauge had a nut but with a different thread. So I had to go and find the right one and purchase the nut so I could use the canner. It was the only thing missing from the package. No idea why they wouldn’t include it.

Nut that's included doesn't fit. Impossible to find a stainless steel nut that's the right size
The nut that's included doesn't fit. Impossible to find a stainless steel nut that's the right size. So we used an ordinary metal nut and of course, it rusted on the very first use. Rust infused water stains all Mason jars caps and screws. It doesn't look appetizing, at all, even though rust doesn't sip into the content of the jars. When a jar doesn't seal properly, instead of eating the content the same day or freezing it, we throw it out in the garbage or compost pile. I don't can to waste. So this nut problem is just so frustrating.
