This coffee was fine for our grinder. Brewed decent coffee. Not too strong and not bitter

I purchased this coffee for the first time based simply on the fact I enjoy arabica medium roast coffee and saw this was an Amazon Choice product. The price was reasonable so decided to try it. I must say I was definitely not disappointed! I ground the beans to a fine grind to use in my espresso machine. The beans ground easily and I savoured my first and subsequent cups. The crema was a beautiful golden brown colour with a lovely aroma. Upon tasting my first latte, I was delighted. The coffee was smooth with a slight acidity and I could taste notes of hazelnut and chocolate and the coffee was very fresh. The 1kg size of the bag will last my family for quite a while and I think the price was quite reasonable and a great value for the money. I don’t think I have been so pleased with a purchase for a long time. I would definitely recommend this coffee for those who like a smooth, medium roast coffee. I will be buying this coffee again over and over.

I love my coffee and i'll always grind fresh at most doing a batch to last a day or so amd keeping it sealed. It's not cheap buying coffee beans soni decided to give these a try as the price was so tempting. This is a 1kg bag of 100% Arabica beans. The bag is foil lined with the usual pressure valve at the top to avoid the bag popping. The beans are rainforrest alliance certified so both peoples rights and the forrest are treated with respect. They do also state on the bag that the beans are sourced from several countries, but are roasted and packed in Belgium. If they are good quality beans you will smell the coffee in the bag before opening, not so in this case. The beans are sourced from multiple countries rather than single source which is a bit disapointing. Single source beans always have a better flavour profile and also give a reliable expectation. E.g. South america will be rich and fruity, asia and africa more acidic. These make a very acidic brew soni would presume the latter. I like to brew an espresso for new beans to get a full impression of the flavour and oil content. This gives a very thin almost no creme layer, so not much oil to the beans (milder, drier flavour), it brews a black rather than brown (medium to dark roasted beans). Taste wise this is very acidic. Piping hot the flavour is quite neutral and not really much of anything, let it cool a bit and it's smooth, very smooth, but also the high acidity comes through. There's not really any dominant flavour notes or aromas that i pick up, maybe a very mild chocolate or nut. Unfortunately the acidity overwhelms the palette thr cooler it gets. This has been roasted to a pleasant level (3/5), there's no taste of burnt coffee, but i think a heavier roasting would help reduce the acid and bring out more of the flavour. Because this is much more acidic than i would normally drink i think i'll have this as a morning coffee (to help get things moving). I'd also recommend brewing in a cafetiere rather than espresso. The ussual 1 tablespoon + 1 spoon per cup. Overall a bargain option for coffee beans and will definitely wake you up. But if you don't like acidic coffee and prefer a rich flavour profile steer clear. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

These are smooth, medium strength beans. They make a good coffee with a nice creama. The price is competitive and are a good bean

Just arrived and it makes a great cup of coffee using my Aeropress. I’ve been searching for a long time for and finally found a bean that suits me.

I found this coffee to be average quality, it's well priced and good value but not the best tasting coffee I have bought from Amazon. It's ok but to extract a good coffee from it, you really need to grind it fine.

Pleasantly surprised by this coffee at half the price of branded beans. Smooth with no bitterness and produces a refreshing cup of coffee. A bit mild for my taste so will try stronger version but overall great coffee for the price.

Very nice coffee at a good price. Tried this based on the reviews, I really liked it but its not up there with my favorites. Taste was very good and the beans smelt lovely and fresh, my favorite is the Taylors of Harrogate Italian at the moment. Brew was nice though and I did enjoy these, would recommend giving them a try as everyone likes a different flavour.

Utilisé avec une machine automatique Delonghi avec broyeur intégré, principalement en expresso et café long. Après 3 semaines d’utilisation, le rendu est constant. Le café est plutôt fort mais reste équilibré, sans amertume excessive. L’odeur à l’ouverture est agréable, et le goût tient bien en tasse, que ce soit en expresso ou en café plus long. ✔ Bon équilibre entre puissance et douceur ✔ Goût stable dans le temps ✔ Très bon rapport qualité/prix ✔ Livraison rapide et toujours disponible ❌ Point à améliorer : le paquet ne se referme pas après ouverture, ce qui peut impacter la fraîcheur sur la durée si on ne transvase pas. Au final, c’est un café équivalent à ce qu’on trouve habituellement dans cette gamme, fiable et sans mauvaise surprise. Idéal pour un usage quotidien sans se ruiner.

Ich nutze die by Amazon House Blend Kaffeebohnen im Vollautomaten und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Bohnen lassen sich problemlos mahlen, wirken gleichmäßig geröstet und liefern bei mir einen konstant guten Kaffee. Geschmacklich ist der Kaffee angenehm ausgewogen. Er ist nicht zu stark, nicht zu sauer und auch nicht unangenehm bitter. Gerade als täglicher Kaffee am Morgen oder zwischendurch passt er sehr gut. Wer extrem kräftige Espressoröstungen bevorzugt, wird hier vielleicht etwas mehr Intensität vermissen, aber für einen klassischen Kaffee oder Café Crema finde ich ihn genau richtig. Positiv fällt vor allem das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auf. Für 1 kg ganze Bohnen bekommt man einen soliden Kaffee, der sich nicht hinter vielen teureren Sorten verstecken muss. Auch der Duft nach dem Öffnen ist angenehm, und die Bohnen funktionieren bei mir im Automaten ohne Probleme. Mir gefällt außerdem, dass es sich um eine mittelgeröstete Mischung handelt. Dadurch ist der Kaffee alltagstauglich und nicht zu schwer. Auch mehrere Tassen am Tag sind für mich gut trinkbar. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Kaffee für den täglichen Gebrauch: unkompliziert, ausgewogen, fair im Preis und zuverlässig im Geschmack. Für mich klare 5 Sterne.

La tostatura media è un punto di forza: non troppo intensa da coprire gli aromi, né troppo chiara da risultare acida. Si trova quel giusto equilibrio tra dolcezza e corpo, con note di cioccolato fondente e una punta di nocciola che lo rendono piacevolissimo al palato. Perché lo adoro: Aroma avvolgente: Appena aperta la confezione da 1kg, si sente un profumo fresco e invitante. In tazza, mantiene una complessità che ricorda i caffè di alta gamma, con un retrogusto morbido e persistente. Versatilità assoluta: Lo uso con la moka, la macchina espresso e anche per il caffè filtro. Con l’espresso ottengo una crema setosa (meno corposa di un dark roast, ma elegante), mentre con la moka esalta note più fruttate. Eticità senza compromessi: Il certificato Rainforest Alliance è un valore aggiunto: sapere che si supportano pratiche sostenibili mi fa scegliere questo prodotto a cuore leggero. Convenienza: La confezione da 1kg è ideale per chi, come me, consuma tanto caffè. Il prezzo è ottimo per la qualità offerta, soprattutto rispetto a marche "premium" che costano il doppio! In famiglia, quando si parla di caffè, siamo piuttosto esigenti. Mia moglie, in particolare, essendo d'origine campana, è così rompi scatole da far tremare il barista sotto casa, che ogni volta che la incontra abbassa lo sguardo. È riuscita persino a fargli rifare due caffè di seguito perché, dal suo punto di vista, non erano "perfetti". Del resto, come ogni partenopea che si rispetti, per lei il caffè non è solo una bevanda rinvigorente, ma un vero e proprio concentrato di gusto, passione e attaccamento alle proprie origini. Dopo questa doverosa premessa, devo confessarvi che in famiglia ci piace diversificare e sperimentare nuove miscele, sempre alla ricerca di qualità e peculiarità uniche. Fino a poco tempo fa, il marchio Amazon, almeno per il caffè ci era completamente sconosciuto. Devo ammettere che eravamo scettici e per nulla convinti prima di ordinarlo. La prima caratteristica che abbiamo notato è che i chicchi sono interamente Arabica, che per noi è la migliore delle varietà. Al tatto e alla vista si percepisce una qualità discreta: i chicchi si presentano unti e oleosi, con una buona differenziazione tra loro. Un altro aspetto che ci ha colpito è la confezione, realizzata interamente in alluminio. Questo materiale è ottimo per conservare al meglio gli aromi, che si sprigioneranno poi in un estratto di circa 25 ml. In casa abbiamo due macchine per il caffè: la classica moka e una Saeco automatica, che da sola è capace di estrarre un ottimo espresso dai chicchi. Ma vogliamo raccontarvi la nostra esperienza con la moka. Dopo aver macinato e inserito il composto all'interno della caffettiera, abbiamo riscontrato una densità media. All'olfatto, il caffè emana una buona fragranza, dove spiccano le note di tostato, nonostante la tostatura sia media. Il gusto non eccelle, ma lo troviamo più che discreto, con un aroma abbastanza piacevole e un livello di acidità ben bilanciato. Al palato spiccano lievi note di cioccolato e un retrogusto che tende leggermente al dolciastro. Non vi nascondiamo di aver assaggiato caffè indubbiamente migliori, ma considerando il prezzo più che abbordabile, non ci è dispiaciuto affatto. Sebbene il gusto sia sempre soggettivo, suggeriamo questo caffè soprattutto se il prezzo rimane contenuto, idealmente non superando i 12 euro al chilo. Se il costo dovesse salire, ci sono molti marchi migliori con un rapporto qualità-prezzo decisamente più elevato, come ad esempio Lavazza o Corsini. Se utilizzate i chicchi per la moka, un suggerimento che ci sentiamo di dare per garantire freschezza e qualità è di macinare il caffè solo al momento dell'utilizzo. Successivamente, riponete la confezione nella parte più asciutta del frigorifero; noi lo abbiamo messo nello scomparto della frutta.

Bon café au quotidien, mais pas parfait. Ces grains by Amazon House Blend 100 % Arabica offrent une torréfaction moyennement poussée qui conviendra à beaucoup d’amateurs d’expresso comme de café filtre. À l’ouverture du sachet, l’odeur est agréable, assez ronde, avec des notes légèrement chocolatées et peu d’amertume. En bouche, le résultat est équilibré, sans excès d’acidité, ce qui le rend facile à boire tous les jours. Le conditionnement en 1 kg est pratique et économique pour une consommation régulière, et la certification Rainforest Alliance est un vrai plus sur le plan éthique. Cependant, il manque peut-être un peu de caractère pour ceux qui recherchent un café plus corsé ou plus aromatique. La crema est correcte sans être exceptionnelle en machine automatique. Ce n’est pas un café “coup de cœur”, mais un très bon rapport qualité-prix pour un usage quotidien. En résumé : fiable, doux et accessible, mais pas inoubliable.
