Why is the 7-cup container 4.69 inches deep while the 5-cup container is 9.13 inches deep? Wouldn't the 7-cup be the deeper one?

I need to relace the little vent cap. Does the company make them for sale apart from the lid?

What is the recycling number on the bottom of the container? Ideally I'd like to see a photo. Thanks
