Budan Induction Moka Pot 6 Cup Stainless Steel Espresso Maker, stovetop coffee maker (6 Cup)

It has been a month since I got this and so far, it has proved to eb a really nice product. The function is very similar to the Italian equivalent and the material is sturdy too. The only slight drawback is that the handle gets very warm very fast, making it difficult to hold once the coffee is done brewing.

It works well, good quality of steel, unlike the other brands that you get onlineI just found 2 issues compared to my 8 year old steel Moka pot bought from Shakari Bhandar which still works well:1. The handle is close to the body so at times it gets hot, so one has to be careful while placing it on the burnerMy old pot handle is designed such that its far and I never have to worry about this issue2. I always kept the moka pot on the burner and went about my work and the spurting sound which is quite loud in my old pot was audible for me to realize that the coffee is done when the noise starts, this one the noise is inaudible unless you're standing in the kitchenStill it surpasses all that is available online - so a good buy - wish they change the handle design, wrote to the company tooOrdered 3 more for gifting but was not happy with the excessive plastic and bubblewrap packaging which was not needed - all you needed was maybe additional cardboard sheets inside the individual boxes containing the pot as it was already in a thick outer boxBig Co's should be more conscious and work towards environmental friendly packaging with so much awareness about the damage its causing

I am using this mokapot since 4 years and it is still functioning properly. It is sturdy, easy to wash, long lasting and material quality is also good.

Writing this review after a week of using it, Got the product as shown in the image, even though brewing coffee using moka pot is new thing for me but satisfied with the process and the outcome

Best in class Moka pot go for it very sturdy

This is a good quality product (I've bought it twice). But the experience is spoilt by a ridiculous after sales process. It's natural for these things to blow the valve after some time of use. It's a simple part that is easily replaceable, but for some reason, this company will insist that the entire product has to be shipped to them, they will do the 5 min job of screwing it in and then ship it back to you. Which is an impractical waste of time. Unfortunately the valve size is different from that of other common mocha pots like butterfly. So you can't even get hold of an after market part and do it yourself 🤷🏽‍♂️

Good

The 6 cup one is perfect as it fits on the gas burner. And because it’s taller, the handle is far away from the flame so less chances of the handle melting away.
