Had this for over a month now. It is VERY quiet indeed and won't disturb your sleep, which is the main reason I go for this brand and make. Some reviews said it's doesn't work very well as a diffuser, I occasionally use it with essential oil, 12-15 drops as recommended, whilst it isn't overwhelmingly strong or fill the entire room with scent, you can certainly smell the essential oil. In fact it is nice that the aroma is on the subtle side. 5 stars for its performance and practicality.

I bought this humidifier as I had developed laryngitis and, after researching, found that having a humidifier in the bedroom overnight can help, and it certainly did!Usage:This humidifier is easy to use, and though there is no remote control, it only took a couple of days of experimentation to know which setting best suited the bedroom. The night mode is useful as the blue lights are quite bright, and the auto stop function is effective. The tank is a good size and the top fill design makes it very easy to use and refill. I live in a hardwater area and so I use filter water that has been boiled and cooled in the humidifier and this seems to be effective in the 3 months that I have owned it.Maintenance:I tend to empty the tank of the remaining water and leave the humidifier to drain/air out during the day whilst I am at work. So far, this has kept any build up of mould/bacteria more at bay. It does need cleaning with vinegar to keep things sanitary on a weekly basis, but this is relatively easy to do as all of the plastic parts do come off/apart.The most difficult section to clean is the mist spout. That being said, the trapezoid shaped piece of plastic at the bottom of the mist spout does come off and it can then be cleaned with a bottle brush.Overall, this has been one of the most beneficial products I have purchased.

Great product, very quiet, night mode is excellent. But broken after 3 months. Totally unacceptable.EDIT: It started working again. Good product, upgraded to 4 stars

This product provides the right amount of cool mist through the night to keep my airways unblocked. I wake up every morning now with feeling that my sinuses are not bunged up. It has also contributed to me snoring less. Just the right size for a bedside table or nightstand. Clean it out once a week and add pure essential oils for an even better sleep experience.

This item worked very well for the first 3 months and is very quiet as advertised, however after 3 months the water outlet/valve assembly failed and it would allow too much water to enter the base meaning that it would not then produce mist making the product useless. The first few times, I tried to manually ensure that the valve did not allow water through and whilst this worked for a few hours, the water outlet/valve assembly failed again during the day/night. This meant that the item did not serve it's function. On contacting Amazon, they did not have access to the warranty so the only option was to return the item and research and purchase a different type of humidifier.

The unit is larger than I expected but that's my fault for not checking. I hadn't imagined that a domestic bedroom humidifier COULD be that big. Anyway, that aside, it is quiet and convenient to fill. However, remember to clean it regularly. I used it for a couple of weeks, thinking that the daily emptying and weekly cleaning was going to be overkill. It was not. It started to smell musty and I could see slight blackening in the base of the upper tank. So, I stopped using it and got ready to clean it which is supposed to be easy. This is where it loses the stars for me. If it needs a good clean, it is very difficult to get to every surface in the base and also the mist tube. The gelatinous black mass that was living in the base was absolutely foul. I'm in the middle of cleaning it all out which is going to take me quite some time. I admit that it's probably my fault for not cleaning it regularly enough. I just hope that the weekly clean prevents it from getting this bad ever again. If I had really understood that it does need to be emptied every day, I don't think that I would have purchased it and would have continued with a rechargeable battery type, which isn't as much of a pain to unplug if the plug is in a fairly inaccessible location. Hopefully it's a lesson learned and it'll be worth the maintenance...

I can see this adds humidity to the room. Very quiet. Good value. Easy to use. No problems at all with it.

The media could not be loaded. I like the product a lot, quietest one I’ve heard so far but still some noise and a little trickling. Essential oils smell only for the first 1hr then just water (using 10 drops). Hopefully will help sleep quality!
