Q: Does this mess with the balls speed or momentum after contact?

it has less effection for the speed, but they did help with control and handling when you receive a hard return or spike. Especially for beginner, the logo help us a lot to aim for the volleball.

Q: I am looking for something thin but padded for volleyball training, would these work?

The padded area is about 3 1/2 inches in length and 5 inches wide. The rest of the sleeve is thin material. Seems like you would want a bigger pad for volleyball?

No, these are not compression sleeves. They are for light protection.

Q: What do i do if the sleeves are super uneven and dont line up at all?

Send them back. They should be the same, just one for left and one for right.
