JBLJBL BassPro Go - in-Vehicle Powered subwoofer & Full-Range Portable Bluetooth Speaker,Black

I've owned JBl products before so I didn't think I could go wrong putting this in my 22 Bronco (which notoriously has bad sounding paper speakers). It took some time to wire because I had to tap into the current speakers (which I replaced). The menu for this speaker is easy to understand although is much more complicated compared to the simplicity of a JBL Flip 4/5 or JBL Charge portable speaker. That's mainly due to its wide options for sound control. The sound is amazing and has that deep sub sound you might be looking for. I'm a sound snob so I wanted something that would put a smile on my face. It also sounds amazing when you detach it from your vehicle and use it as a stand alone speaker. It does take up some space but that is offset by it's quality sound. I highly recommend this product unless you have never connected a new sound system or product to your vehicle. Be patient with the wiring process. I'd buy it again for sure!

Upon receiving this speaker I and was impressed with the overall size & quality of it. The audio signal input connectors, holding bracket & wire gauge of the amp power input is good quality too.My problem is the length of the amp power wires. It's about 2 - 3 feet long with no connectors to attach to the power. The diagram in the manual shows the wire should connect to the battery. So, if you are going to put this in your trunk you will need to order some wire. For close to $600 for this product, you should have everything needed to install it.Come on JBL!I own a BMW that has the battery in the trunk & I still needed more wire to complete the power connections to the battery.After making the connection to the battery, I noticed that the harness connector that goes the back of the speaker is very weak and brittle. Be very careful when pulling this connector out. It must be pulled out straight or it will break. The harness outer shell is very strong and looks durable, but the part that actually goes into the speaker has a lot of small gauge wire connectors. This means the connector has thin walls between the connectors and will break with little pressure or excessive use.That being said, it is being sold as a device that can be taken out of the car to be used at another location. The rechargeable batteries can only be charged by the harness in the car.They should have made 2 connectors with bigger connectors that can withstand the intended use of the device.I love everything else about this sub/boombox. I would recommend this product but only to someone who can be careful when disconnecting the wire harness.Weak point is pointed out in the attached pictures

I connected this speaker in about 5 hrs and it sounds amazing. I use it daily whenever I’m working outside, just disconnect and play from your phone. I convinced a cousin to get the same speaker for his Camry and he enjoys it too. We connected them with each other and they sound even better as a pair in Bluetooth mode.

Horrible customer service. I have tried upwards of 10 times to get through to customer service. They always say they need to transfer me to the technicians and I will get an email back and I never do.The in-line wiring harness melted and I need a new one. Impossible to find the same size with the same prongs anywhere else.Can’t charge the speaker. Can’t use it in or out of my vehicle. A simple fix but can’t achieve it!Sounds amazing and I love the speaker so much! Just wish I could get the parts to make it work again. Wiring harness melted after a few months use.

I’ve had subs in everyone of my cars and didn’t believe this speaker could provided much bass. But it will surprise you! Don’t expect ridiculous bass this speaker though provides enough bass to feel the rumble. It’s a great addition to any factory system well worth the money. Plus it’s also nice to be able to take it in the go great for the beach and tailgating since it does allow you to use as a full range speaker.

Unfortunately my factory head unit didn't have a sub plug so had to improvise to install it without ordering extra connections. But after that the speaker hasn't let me down on sound quality and adding more bass and sound to my factory system. Then u can unplug it and carry it whenever u need provide music or sound for any occasion!

Perfect if you want to add just a bit of bass to your car stereo. Not going to shake the windows off but enough to even out the mids. Only downfall is that there is not a way to plug in the speaker to charge it if it’s out of your car. Had it professionally installed at Best Buy for $150.

The speaker works perfectly but my only problem is the car kit cable got stuck and broke easily. Now i am having trouble to connect the speaker with my car. This such a disappointment for such an expensive speaker.
