I am a nail tech by trade. I purchased these 80/80 files for my acrylic clients. These files are the best I've used! They are strong and not flimsy. The heavy grit is perfect for filing down acrylic. These files are NOT for natural nails. The grit is too rough. The higher the number of grit, the smoother the file is. For example, a file with a grit between 120-240 is what I personally would use for filing the edge of a natural nail so as to not damage the natural nail. Of course, every nail tech has their own preference. On a side note... I give my clients the file after their service. Many have told me that they take these 80/80's home to use on their heels and they work great for getting the callouses off!

I was surprised at how well these files work. While they’re 80 grit, they’re not stiff like some others I’ve used but rather flexible and easy to manipulate. I’m a full time nail tech seeing double digit clients daily and these are my favorites to date.

These are super super gritty like sandpaper. More suitable for toenails than fingernails, which is what I had intended to use them for. I ended up giving them away.

Hands down these are the best files I've ever tried! They make the filing part SO easy! & You can't beat the price on these!! 50 Files for $13?? They are super durable but I don't reuse files. I definitely recommend these!

i find that the filer is ineffective. very little of the nail comes off.
