My Go-To Watch
This watch has been my companion for the past few months, and I must admit, it has exceeded my expectations in terms of both style and functionality. This timepiece strikes a harmonious balance between classic elegance and modern convenience. The stainless steel case of the watch exudes a timeless charm. Its polished finish and sleek design give off an air of sophistication that seamlessly transitions from casual to formal settings. The silver hue of the stainless steel effortlessly complements the genuine leather strap, creating a tasteful contrast that enhances the watch's overall aesthetic. What truly sets this watch apart is its reliable quartz movement. The precision and accuracy of the quartz movement ensure that I can trust the timekeeping without the need for constant adjustments. The luminous hands and markers also contribute to easy readability, even in low-light conditions, which is a thoughtful touch. The leather strap not only adds to the watch's visual appeal but also ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist. Over time, the leather develops a unique patina, adding character to the watch and making it feel like a personalized accessory. The stainless steel buckle secures the watch in place, and I've found it to be sturdy and reliable. One minor drawback is that the leather strap may require occasional maintenance to keep it looking its best. Leather can be sensitive to moisture and wear, so it's important to take care of it to ensure its longevity. Pros: Timeless and sophisticated design Luminous hands for easy readability Comfortable and stylish leather strap Cons: Leather strap may require occasional maintenance

Instructions?
That's my one rant. There was no user manual. It's not too hard to figure out the basics, but there are things it can do, that without instructions, you have to figure out yourself just by playing with it. It's really annoying actually because I wonder if there are features that I will never know about simply because I won't ever discover them. I went to their website to look for a manual, but there aren't any. Ridiculous for such a finely crafted instrument. I have one mini-rant. The second hand of the stopwatch (the small one on the bottom), doesn't center properly when "zeroed". It's a little off, but it's obvious. It's like having an expensive sports car with a small detail misaligned. Otherwise, I still give it 5 stars because it looks very finely crafted. As my friend would say, "It looks expensive, and it is expensive." Except for the second hand I mentioned, everything looks perfectly placed and laid out with precision. The very tiny, but clearly visible markings, including the tachymeter markings, make you wonder how they can successfully work on such a small scale. The metal parts are finely machined and polished, and the glass is perfectly clear. The glass is not simply "like" an expensive lens, it is itself, a finely manufactured lens. The design is simple and clean. It's a pleasure to behold and makes you feel that much more well-dressed.

Top Quality. Read review for Cons
I really liked it. It has that elegance that you expect from the brand as soon as you look at it. It catches the light beautifully. The leather strap is a nice touch. It has two bands, one is set and the other one is movable. The first band is a little too close so you have to bend the strap quite a bit to get it in. Chronograph goes up to 30 minutes. Something that we tend to dismiss is the weight of the watch. I have other watches that are too heavy and honestly it is annoying. This one is not heavy so it is very comfortable to wear! The only thing I wasn't trilled about is the date function. There's no way to change the day independently so you have to go through the whole 24 hours to switch the date to the next number. I wasn't expecting that considering it's price. Also, there are no instructions anywhere. Overall a great watch.

HUGO BOSS Men's Stainless Steel Quartz Chronograph Watch w leather strap ....
OK, traditionally Hugo Boss watches were made by Movado, a reputable Swiss watch maker. But I am not sure now. Many designer brands that peddle watches (Calvin Klein, for one) will put on their watch dial face "SWISS MADE" as a badge of honor, signifying inherent/inferred quality, while others may denote "SWISS MOVEMENT", even though rest of the watch components might be made/assembled elsewhere. Others may put "Japan Movement" in similar vein. Not that Japan movement is necessarily inferior but if your favorite designer brand switched from Swiss made/movement to Japan movement, do you think it's better? As witnessed by the current offerings from Hugo Boss watches, there is no inscription as to the origins of the watch movement, while their booklet insert clearly states that their movement is Made in Japan. My assumption is that comparable Japan Movement costs less than Swiss Made/Movement. Therefore, I see this as a sly cost cutting maneuver on part of Hugo Boss to pad the bottom line. I like Movado; therefore, I like Movado made Hugo Boss watches. I see value in their watches knowing that they were actually Swiss made. These newer Hugo Boss watches? Yeah, they are still nice watches with strong design elements, but for me, inherent value is no longer there for me at these prices now that they are no longer Swiss made.

Great looking watch
This watch has some weight and it feels like a quality made timepiece. My husband usually prefers a metal band, but was surprised at the comfort and how nice this leather strap felt and looked on his wrist. Looks good with dress or casual wear.
