Things Happen For A Reason
I enjoy a company that responds quickly to a customers inquiry.Eagerly awaiting my 100% Medium roast Kona coffee, I was concerned that an error had been made when my order arrived. I received instead the 10% blended Kona Hawaiian coffee.I questioned the company and had a response within 24 hours. Indeed an error occurred. Within a couple of days, I received my 100% Kona. No issues in shipping and I was allowed to retain the 10% blend. That was very nice.I had never had 100% Kona. I generally brew a 12 ounce cup of coffee with 3 tablespoons of freshly ground coffee. I do add a bit of 1/2 & 1/2. The brew I received was light and delicate. My next cup I brewed with 4 tablespoons. A bit richer flavor but still delicate. A mellow, relaxed cup of coffee.While this is my first experience with 100% Kona, I have no real way of comparing it to other 100% Kona’s but I am very happy with my overall experience with Lava Lei.Great service and a pleasant cup of coffee.

100% KONA "DARK ROAST". No seal. It's fair.
At least beans are roasted enough to make them oily & shiny. Bag opened incorrectly. No reseal wire nor double pressure lip seal on bag. Fair, once again Starbucks Sumatra has spoiled me. Smooth, though just not burned beans. Like the volcano and plumeria bloom on the label. $$$. Aroma excellent!

Flat and stale .
Not fresh at all. Stale and flat . No flavor. 7-11 has better coffee. Very disappointed. I was just in Hawaii and this is no where near the good coffee I had there

Flavorless brown water.
This did not taste like Kona coffee, very inexpensive. You get what you pay for!
