This flat iron has been in my saved for later for months. Everyone on the internet recommends this flat iron, but I thought it was a bit on the pricey side. This is the highest tier of flat iron I have ever used, and it produced PROFESSIONAL results. Results were giving SILK, bone straight and smooth hair. It lasted so long. For reference, I have waist-length high-density fine 3c/4a natural hair with highlights. I had zero heat damage, and I blow-dried my hair with my Dyson using the comb attachment and then flat ironed my hair on 380 degrees. I did one pass using the chase method with a fine-tooth comb. Now I have to stop myself from wearing only straight hair. Do yourself a favor and pull the trigger on this purchase! It is worth every penny!

Product came with a dent on it. It does get very hot, so please be careful if you purchase it. I've only used it one. I hope it lasts longer than it did for others people. This thing cost too much to quit after a few months!

I generally like to curl my hair with a straightener, and this seemed like the holy grail for that purpose. I did a lot of research before purchasing. I have used it a few times now, and I’m nothing but disappointed. First of all, with the heated exterior, it’s way too easy to burn yourself. I knew going in, and thought it was a great feature, but in reality it is scary and stressful to use on one’s own head. I don’t like how it holds the hair…almost too slippery. The iron I was replacing worked well at 400 degrees. I had to jack this one up to its highest setting and I’m still not satisfied with the results. I simply have not had the smooth, glossy look that others report, whether straightening or curling. My hair frizzes back up quickly. It does not have auto-off, nor does it tell you when it’s achieved the correct temperature. The build does feel of high quality otherwise, but it just doesn’t do anything for my hair. Not sure if it’s my hair type, or I got a dud, or what.
