I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend who's recently started a health kick. It comes in a really nice box, making it it easy to wrap and store. Lovely modern colour combination and seems very well made. I haven't tried it myself but my friend thinks it's wonderful. Took a bit of getting used to for someone who used the lightweight plastic version years ago. The weight came as a shock! But she mastered it it quickly. A great feature of this is the 8 separate sections, allowing you to construct a hoop that is a suitable size for the user, and allowing for easy storage. There has been no problem with assembly or disassembly. Earned me brownie points for a unique and thoughtful present. I'll definitely be buying more.

Great large hoola hoop - easy to assemble (although I don’t think you can disassemble it). Great for weight loss exercises - fit girl summer incoming 😂

I'm 67 years old and had been wanting a hula hoop for a while, for fun & excercise. At school we used simple plastic ones but I couldn't find a suitable one so ordered this. It took a few weeks to arrive and at first I was useless with i, it hurt me !. When I assembled it, it seemed too large so I left 2 sections out. I just couldn't master it, so tried adding in the 2 remaining sections & after a few times practising I can now use it. Feeling pleased with myself & hoping to get fitter.

Flimsy and unusable! Falls apart

As the hoop has a funny shape on the inside Doesnt Spain Very easily around the waist

Was so excited to get this, was really easy to assemble but can only be used for around 10 seconds before It snaps apart

The hoop broke after one use, I taped it up and then after second use broke in a different place, couldn't be bothered fixing again ! For what it cost the quality is poor today the least. To be honest I wouldn't recommend this particular weighted hula hoop.
