I bought this ice cream maker instead of a similar one that I have bought in the past. It is easy to use, definitely slows down when the ice cream is about done. I figured that for the price, if I was able to make a few batches, it would be worth it. I was impressed that I was able to make 5 conainers ( 48 oz). And it still worked!. Easy to clean, did not leak water all over the counter. For this maker, rock salt or kosher salt is needed, & lots of ice. No need to pre freeze the bowl. I started with a custard mix that I had made before that had cooled in the fridge. Would buy again.

Product has excellent quality! Runs smoothly when learning to use. It is a little noisy, my advice is to run the machine when most people are in another room. Made delicious ice cream and sorbet with this and both turned out great! Texture is soft and easy to consume. Cleanup is easy.

This ice cream maker takes over the work of churning. It makes delicious firm ice cream. No soft serve here. Just add milk and whipping cream to the mix. Surround with ice and rock salt and in 15 minutes your ice cream mix is ready for the freezer. Nostalgia brand ice cream mix tastes wonderful.
