Taylor of Old Bond Street Mr. Taylor Aftershave Lotion, 3.38 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I've been a Nivea user for years, it was fine, but when I started wet shaving recently I decided it was time to grow up and use a real aftershave. This stuff is really nice, I love the scent especially when paired with TOBS Sandalwood Shaving Soap. The alcohol smell is strong at first, but it quickly gives way to a subtle manly aroma. I like it, my wife likes it, so I will keep getting it.

Great product when you first put it on it does not smell like the soap you need to let it settle for a couple of minutes and then it starts to smell identical to the soap it is a great scent that last a long time smells just like the soap but stronger great

Rating of four stars is based on the overall quality and value the product provides, personal preference is entirely subjective and unfair to rate a product on.Took a gamble on trying this after absolutely loving the Eton College fragrance. At first I didn’t like the Mr Taylor’s scent but it has since grown on me a bit. The aftershave soothes well and has moderate staying power and doesn’t seem to overpower. This definitely is more of an old school scent but it’s formulated in a way that allows it to be subtle. It reminds me a little of Consort men’s hair spay except it doesn’t overpower they way that crap does.The verdict, it’s a product that’s going to be very polarizing in the appeal of the fragrance and it’s a tad on the expensive side for what it is. My preference leans more toward the citrus, woodsy and spicy scents and for me this doesn’t hit those notes. I’d suggest trying the Mr Taylor’s shaving cream first to decide if you enjoy the sent enough to invest in the aftershave. Personally I was on the fence as to whether to use this or give it away but, after giving it a week, I think it’s an OK fall and winter scent so I’ll keep it around to use for a change now and again but it’s unlikely I’d buy it again.

The lotion smells good and has a decent looking bottle. It can be a very good gift though.

Taylor of Old Bond Street sells this aftershave that is labeled, "A Gentlemans Aftershave Lotion". The scent is light and really pleasant, conjuring up thoughts of an old school barber shop straight razor shave, hot towel treatment followed by this aftershave. It is lasting, but not overpowering at all. A wonderful product.

I found the fragrance of Taylor of Old Bond Street Mr. Taylor Aftershave Lotion about 9 years ago. Smells great, not over powering and IS a gentleman's after shave. Highly recommended for you gentlemen out there 🙂

I have sensitive skin, and I use this everyday after shaving with no issues. The scent is fantastic.4-stars because the scent wears off too fast for the price.

This product not only serves me as an aftershave but it also moisturizes my skin leaving me feeling clean and tight. And the fragrance just stays with you the whole day. I get comments on how good I smell when I wear this. Its a very soothing manly aroma. Its not to musky, more wooded and calm. If that makes any sense!
