A most excellent kettle! I enjoy actually watching the water boil through the sturdy clear glass. More importantly, this kettle boils water very rapidly! The on /off switch is sturdy, with of course automatic shutoff when the heating is done. I also appreciate the fact that the kettle lid stays open so it's easy to pour water into it for heating. Previous metal kettles did not open fully; awkward! Actually, I have both the 1.8-quart capacity kettle (love the glowing blue light as water boils) for our kitchen and the smaller 1.1-quart kettle for my office. Excellent vale for my money, both!

I had this for 3 years but dropped it recently when it was empty (thankfully) and it damaged the top so it does pop open now without force and is difficult to close. It worked great while I have had it boiling in a timely manner, never overflowing or any problems. I am replacing it with the smaller version of it because I have both (the other is at work) and this taller one is much louder when it first starts heating though it does quiet down when coming up to a boil, than the smaller one. I literally have to turn the volume up on my TV when this is on. That is my only complaint and otherwise recommend it since it has a larger capacity & never gave me any problems.

I didn’t have a tea kettle or an electric kettle, so I grabbed this one hoping it would make my life easier. The larger size was on sale for the same price as the smaller one, so I went for it. When I unboxed it, I honestly got nervous that it was too big and that I should’ve picked the smaller one, but I’m glad I didn’t! When cooking, I filled it all the way and it boiled water quickly and gave me exactly what I needed for my recipe. It works exactly how you'd expect it to. It feels solid, looks sleek, and gets the job done without any fuss. If you’re looking for a good, affordable kettle, this one is perfect! I’ve never been disappointed with Amazon brand electronics!

Leaving a review for my mom, who adores this thing. Especially for the price, you can't go wrong. I have a really fancy, ergobomic smart kettle and this one is just a powerhouse and does what it's supposed to when it's supposed to. My mom uses this multiple times a day, every single day; my boss has one and uses it with his coffee press; my aunt has had one for years and it still works without issue. Would i purchase this one rather than my smart kettle if I could turn back time? No, because with the tea I drink it's not supposed to be mixed with boiling water. If you want boiling water at the same temperature every time, this is the way to go! A great electric kettle that has stood the test of time with many people I know. The light function is useful and really makes it look pretty cool, and the amount of water it holds is very impressive. Easy to clean- just pour some vinegar in there and have it sit for a bit. A very durable and economical workhorse. Highly recommended.

Solid kettle. Heats water fast, looks clean on the counter, and feels sturdy. The handle stays cool and pouring is easy without spilling everywhere. Not life-changing, but reliable and practical. If you want a no-nonsense kettle that works and doesn’t look cheap, this is a good buy. The only con is the inside starts to show some mineral buildup over time, especially if you have hard water. Regular descaling keeps it clean and hasn’t affected performance.

I always wanted one of these water kettle. I used this every day since I received it. Great item. It heats up pretty quick with a push lever under the handle, it has a glow light around the glass and base, which is really cool. It comes with a little removable filter screen and the lid opens with a push button on the handle. It is easy to clean, don’t put/immerse the whole thing in water, not recommended!!

Love it ! Boils water much quicker than the microwave. Easy to use, pretty blue light lining the bottom of the kettle, thick no-slip handle, so convenient. Great quality too.

This electric kettle arrived couple of days ago and I'm very happy with it. It is very attractive and doesn't take up much counter space. I use it to boil water for my single cup French press pot. The water boils at about 60 secs. Very fast. I especially like that it has automatic shut off. The two main reasons I purchased it is to get rid of my stove top kettle from always being on the stove and to save energy. This pot saves me almost 12 to 15 minutes of heating a stove top kettle up. I'm a happy camper. It that changes I'll update review.

Wow, I'm really impressed! It's lighter, more attractive, and quieter than my previous kettle. And having the water visible looks nice and is functional as well: allowing me to easily see how much water it has, and the degree to which it is boiling.

A comparación de otras teteras eléctricas que he comprado, esta se siente bastante robusta y su funcionamiento se siente también muy seguro. Para que no haya ambigüedad, estoy hablando de la jarra eléctrica de vidrio Amazon Basics de 1.7 litros. Calienta el agua con bastante rapidez y se apaga sola en cuanto el agua comienza a hervir. El vidrio es grueso. El mango se mantiene frío, de manera que se puede manejar muy bien. Por el momento, estoy muy satisfecho con el producto. Veremos si es duradero, por que el tema que ha sido reincidente con todas las teteras eléctricas de diversas marcas que he comprado es que se descomponen entre tres y seis meses. Esta parece estar construida con una mayor calidad, entonces tengo la expectativa que dura cuando menos un año y medio, lo que consideraría un trato justo respecto al precio. Yo no considero que le doy un uso fuerte. Generalmente la uso una vez al día por las mañanas para calentar 1.25 litros y ocasionalmente al medio día. Esto no representa un uso intenso. Entonces, veremos cuánto dura y regresaré a actualizar esta nota que escribo el 28 de agosto de 2024. Mientras tanto, sí recomiendo comprarla ya que es un producto de calidad superior en su rango de precio. Espero resulte útil.

I know, why review a $35 kettle, right? Well, Ive had to return a few because they either won't do what they're supposed to do, or there' some kind of design flaw. I'm noit overly picky, I just want a simple kettle that boils quickly, shuts off when it's done and for all the parts to work together. I have to say Amazon knocked this little fella out of the park. A small kettle that boils quickly, looks decent and has no annoying flaws The lid opens wide, it's quick to boil and shut off and takes up minimum counter space. All at a decent price. Perfect for one or 2 people in my opinion and a great buy. I've only had it a couple of days so we'll see hwo it holds upo but in the ealry going I'm FINALLY happy to ahve a kettle that works.
