Good product!
Got sent this product by the brand and it has been good! Only been using it for a week or so but it keeps my skin thoroughly hydrated throughout the day and does what a face moisturiser should do. Love the fact it comes in a 2 pack aswell, have to pass one on to mum! Thank you Gentle Homme!

Great cream, weird smell
The cream itself is thick and velvety but surprisingly light and fresh feeling - like a MUCH less greasy Nivea. It soaks in quickly and doesn't leave stickiness, greasiness or any other residual sensation, has a lovely breathable freshness, and doesn't "pill" when you touch your face later. The moisturising sensation is instant and lasts at least 8 hours, without turning oily at any time (I have normal-to-mildly sensitive skin, I should add).I didn't notice any effect on fine lines, pores etc* - but after using every day for 4 weeks, my skin does look really hydrated and healthy. Its also awesome to use after a wet shave, and doesn't sting or irritate - as well as a night cream as it soaks in so quickly so wont leave your pillow greasy.*I should add more context here though - I've been using Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream, daily, for years - which is INCREDIBLE (but expensive, hence I was interested in this one!), and I also don't use soap, smoke, drink or sunbathe - so my skin is generally in fantastic shape; the important thing for me though is this cream hasn't undone anything! The price, for two generously sized tubs that last around 3-4 weeks each, the quality, and the "fit" as a light day cream easily puts this at a solid 5 stars - but the scent (and totally personal opinion I know) is really quite off-putting. I was tempted to bump the review down to 4 stars because of it - but in fair balance, the cream is superb, and the smell is manageable - so maybe consider this a 4.7 :)Just to explain that smell though - I hate heavily scented cosmetics as I don't feel its at all necessary, and although I'm a man with no time for this whole "I'm a bloke, I don't use moisturiser" gig, and will happily use a "womens" moisturiser - because it absolutely is all the same thing - I don't like overtly feminine smells - so I DO like that this one is at least lightly fragranced, which dissipates after a couple of hours, and is "gender neutral". But its also kind of cheap smelling. More like I would expect in a £1 off-brand hand lotion than a "nice" face cream. The actual scent is like.... like walking into a shop that sells fake crystals and books about vampires. Imagine a slightly out of date bottle of Neroli essential oil, which probably wasn't 100% Neroli essential oil in the first place, watered down with a carrier oil that has also slightly gone out of date. That and dry hay. And not in a "Look, a freshly mown hay meadow, lets frolic" way, more "That's the fusty old hay loft where, rumour has it, a haunted witch lives"I would honestly prefer it unscented than the scent it has. That being said - the fragrance doesn't last all day, isn't overpowering, and can be masked with your own perfume - and the cream itself is fab; so I would definitely still recommend it. I don't see myself replacing my Elemis day cream with it, but I have already replaced it as my night cream, and often use it on my hands too.I would 100% recommend it if you want a good cream but don't want to spend a lot on it (though if you have the budget, I'm yet to find anything as good as Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream - which is normally £85 for 50ml, but often on sale from Amazon at around £65!)

Excellent as a night cream - a good moisturiser
This is a pack of two creams - both the same, which the makers say is suitable for day and night-time use. They are well-packages, properly sealed, and for the price there is a good quantity of cream here. It's a thick cream - almost like a cold cream from the past - quite heavy and rich, and I would personally say better suited to night-time use than daytime as it took a little while on my skin to be absorbed. One reviewer said they felt it light and airy - i honestly felt it was righer and creamier than that. The scent is Neroli oil, which is an essential oil produced from the blossom of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium or Bigaradia). Its scent is sweet, and a little similar to honey, but with spicy and plant-like facets. It can be quite strong, but is reasonably subtle here - it's nice and my family all liked it too. Orange blossom is also extracted from the same blossom and both extracts are extensively used in perfumery. It has definitely moisturised my skin well and has not inflamed or caused any issues on my forehead, which is sometimes quite sensitive to creams and I have found is a good bellweather of how tolerated a product will be by my skin more generally over a longer period. I shall update this review if any problems did arise, but I can't see any.In the ingedient list, the last two listed (and therefore the smallest quantity) are collagen and stem cells. Do you know, I'm not surprised and I think I like it that way, particularly as the source of the stem cells is not specified...It seems a good value cream, works well as a night cream, moisturises well, but might be better for night than for day. It seems well-tolerated by my skin and is very good value for money. Recommended.

Two nice bottles of cream which moistures and hydrates.
I got this cream for my husband, it comes in a pack of two and both containers are black, but there is no dispenser, you need to open the bottles and use your fingers to take out the cream, I think for the price point, the makers could have had a dispenser. In any event my husband said he does not mind this so much, he uses the cream in the morning, after shaving and also in the evening, I tried it on my skin and noticed that it has a very nice subtle smell, it is not overpowering, so it was pleasant, also, it absorbs into the skin fairly quickly, some creams absorb immediately, this one takes a minute or so to fully absorb, but its real benefit is that it actually works, it makes the skin feel smoother and more hydrated, I have noticed this on my husband’s face, but if you think it will make you look younger you will be disappointed, it moisturises and hydrates, this may help in the aging process, but it is not something immediate. The makers claim they have used stem cells, I find it implausible that stem cells used in a cream will help to rejuvenate you, certainly not for the price you pay for these two bottles, I took this claim as an advertising and selling tactic, but if I do notice my husband getting younger I will let you all know.I have given this product four stars, as it does moisturise and hydrates, but there are other creams on the market, which are cheaper, and they do the same thing, but what this cream does well is that it is not sticky on the face, it smells nice and is absorbed rapidly, so not a bad buy.
