These worked perfect on the first try!!
These worked great for me, and I got a good set of trays the first try. I initially bought the Shine Whitening with Zero Peroxide that came with a set of trays. I had never tried whitening my teeth before, and the directions that came with the kit were not very good. This set looked pretty deformed. Once the plastic got stuck together, there was no getting it apart.I ordered this set to give it another shot, and got a good set of trays on the first try. I filled a glass measuring cup with water, and put it into the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes until it was boiling. Then I held the first tray into the boiling water for 6-8 seconds until it was just starting to soften. I let the excess water run off of it and put into my mouth on the bottom teeth being careful that it went over the teeth. Then I sucked in my cheeks with my mouth closed. This pulled the tray up to my teeth. Then I used my fingers to make sure that the tray was formed to my teeth, took it out of my mouth, and rinsed it with cold water.I did the same thing with the second tray without re-boiling the water, and put it on my upper teeth following the same procedure. Again, I had a perfect tray. I think the problems happen when the trays are left too long in the hot water. This will make them too soft and limp. If you try to shake off the excess water, the soft plastic will stick together and you will never get it apart - especially if you got it too soft.In summary, to get perfect trays the first time, do one at a time, don't leave them in the hot water too long, don't shake off excess water (let it run off), and suck in your cheeks to pull the forms close to your teeth.

Work great if you follow the directions.
These worked great for me. I followed the instructions posted by other reviewers. Boil water and then pour it into a cup. Hold the mouthpiece by the tab and dip it into the hot water. Hold it in the water no longer than 6 to 8 seconds. The second you see it start to slightly droop, pull it out, let the water drip off for a second and then put it in your mouth biting down with your teeth and sucking in your cheeks. This will mold it to your teeth. But it's important to understand that these are not like custom trays you would get from a dentist (and pay hundreds of dollars for). They are not going to perfectly mold to your teeth. That's not really their purpose. Their purpose is just to hold the whitening gel against your teeth. These are very thick and bulky and on the hard side. They're not the most comfortable things in the world but again, they're not really supposed to be. They are really only there to hold the gel against your teeth. Following these instructions, my trays came out perfectly every time.

Enough for an entire family!!! Or a lifetime supply!!! Lol!
Wow, this is like a lifetime supply! I bought a bleaching kit a year and a half ago and still have syringes left, so my husband wanted to bleach his teeth as well. I took a chance on these because they were inexpensive and I figured if we messed up one there were so many others to get it right. Well, if you follow the instructions, it's super easy. We boiled the water in a measuring cup in the microwave. Then dipped the tray in the water for a few seconds, removed it, shook it off and put it in his mouth and sucked on it. Then used his fingers to press it tight against all his teeth. Then you can trim the tab off and excess above the teeth.TIPS: Trim slowly, taking off a small bit each time. You can always remove more. I trim the back teeth portion off because I don't bleach my back teeth and this helps with the gag reflex. Less time in the hot water is better, you can always re-dip it if you need it softer. However, if you leave it in even a second too long it will collapse.I hope this info helps. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below and I will try my best to answer.

This technique worked for me.
If you know how to use these, they work pretty well. Heat them up for a few seconds in boiling water, quickly shake of any droplets hanging on and insert trays into your mouth (use common sense if it feels too hot) also be sure that the tray isn't folding over onto itself due to being too hot. I feel that it works best if you create a vacuum effect in your mouth while pressing the back side of the tray against your teeth with your tongue and use your fingers to press your lip against the front of the tray. When the trays have cooled down to about your mouth temperature rinse the trays with cold water to harden them. Trim any excess plastic away from where your tooth and gums meet to avoid getting any whitening gel on your gums! These are no replacement for what the dentist can provide, but for the price these things work very well.

I left them as is and they work fine. I'm just using them for teeth whitening
I ordered the larger pack because I read reviews that said they were very hard to mold. I didn't end up molding them. I left them as is and they work fine. I'm just using them for teeth whitening. They are thick but I like that part.
