WiFi remote is terrible
The unit controller is great but their WiFi remote is terrible. I have a very strong WiFi mesh network throughout my home but their receiver poorly connects.

Defective, Do Not Buy
This controller is defective. It will turn on at various times throughout the day or week which have not been programmed. It took awhile to determine that it was the controller and not the programming or wiring and with a rainy season the system was turned off. Now it is past Amazonโs return window one Hunter basically says tuff. Do not buy a Hunter controller, or sprinkler guy says they are all terrible.

Great controller
Super easy set up. Like being able to control different run times and lengths for different zones and also the ability to run different schedules for different areas of my yard. Very simple and straightforward

Cost Effective yet good 14 Station Irrigation Controller
Not the 1st time owning a Hunter irrigation controller so Hunter controller becomes a natural choice for its reliability. Yet again this one is EZ to use ESPECIALLY when paired with WIFI wand on Hydrawise app. We installed the controller ourselves by watching Youtube video. Methodically label all your zones especially for those who have many zones! EZ to install. And buy the WIFI wand with this unit which makes scheduling much EZ on Hydrawise.

Hunter Controllers are Excellent !!!๐๐๐
I have four Hunter controllers controlling 38 zones in Arizona heat. They have been in place for 4 years and I have had zero problems. I highly recommend the Hunter brand. They may be expensive in the beginning but if you donโt need to replace them they are economical in the long run.

Reliable and easy to program irrigation controller
Amazon deal was better than what I have seen elsewhere. This was a standard, reliable controller - I have not put in the WiFi module because it is another hassle. If you have it mounted make sure it is on an external weather protected location (rain water kills the transformer) and on a good GFCI circuit - electrical strikes will kill this machine
