We do tons of homemade foods we store in mason jars. We use chalkboard labels on the lids and VersaChalk pens are far and beyond the best pens for that. The thickness is perfect. If you write down the food's name and creation date, you don't want a pen that is too thick (info won't fit) or a pen that is too thin (it will look faded and harder to read). The colors are vibrant. They work equally well on chalkboard lids and glass bottles (we make kombucha and mark the second ferment ingredients directly on the bottles and the brightness of these pens makes it effortless to read, even against the background of a light drink).We purchased them 11 months ago, use them almost daily and they are still going. Only the most used one is starting to fade a bit.The only caveat (and this is probably *not* the fault of these pens) is that if they are left on chalkboard labels too long (a month or longer), there is slight ghosting left on the label after you wipe it off. This might be the fault of my chalkboard labels and not the pens, just thought it is worth mentioning. They, of course, leave no ghosting on plastic or glass, even if you leave it on there for a year.We have gone through an array of other chalkboard pens, and none even come close to these.Highly recommended!

I bought this chalk markers for the first time and I loved them ! They were easy to clean just with a damp paper towel and so easy to write with.I will definitely be buying more colors.

These are great pens. They take awhile to get the liquid chalk to come out. I got a scrap paper first, and had to shake the pens, press down the tip repeatedly on the paper until the ink finally saturated the tip enough to be visible on the paper. Give yourself a little extra time to get the pens 'ready' before you start a project with them. They show up very vibrant in colors (the purple is not quite as bright as the other more brighter shades). It shows up clearly as purple, but that is such a dark color that when you step away from your chalkboard art, it looks dark compared to the other more neon colors (pink, orange, yellow, etc).

These chalk markers are awesome! These types of markers are not cheap, so it's nice when you can find a good deal on them. I use them for our monthly magnetic calendar, and the occasional craft or label. The colors are bright and crisp, they arrived within a couple days of ordering and have worked great so far. I've found it difficult to find fine tip, and these do the trick!

Really good chalk markers! Crisp line, right amount of ink. I had bought another brand before which I had several issues with (one the ink came out in globs, one the ink was watery, ran out way before others, and the lines were not smooth, had stray small strands that caused pitted and stringy printing). These are good! Buying the other color set.

I am mostly pleased with these. The variety of colors looks very nice on my chalkboard calendar and black poster board. HOWEVER, the tips of 3 of my markers have snapped and I’ve only used them 3x (for writing names and dates). I’m not sure if we pressed too hard and caused them to snap, but after shaking vigorously and pressing down many times, the ink would not flow to the end and would instead spill out of the sides (causing a streaked look rather then full ink). In addition to this, a few came “loose” or “unscrewed” from the tip and leaked in the packaging as well as easily loosening with use. I can clean it up, it’s not a huge deal. I just hate to waste what I have. Overall, they’re doing what they’re supposed to and look great doing it, but I don’t like how 3 tips have broken. I’d buy them again as I hope this was just a user error.

These just arrived today and I have already put them to use on my chalkboard calendar. I really like the bright colors an they seem to write very well (not too streaky like some cheap liquid chalk markers can be). Once you get the chalk flowing you are able start writing/drawing. It does take a little work to get each of them flowing. I also like the fact that these are wet erase... which means that once it is dry, it won't smudge. It is easily erased with a wet cloth. People who are saying it is permanent or staining surfaces are clearly not reading the instructions and fine print. It clearly says not compatible with all surfaces and to test before using. These are more fine pointed than most regular makers, but not not fine pointed like a pen would be. Each marker was sealed individually in plastic, which was kind of annoying to peel off, but not a big deal. Would buy again. I look forward to putting these to good use!

My pantry is more organised but easy to change writing on labels.

ガラス製ホワイトボードに書くペンをさがしていて、購入してみましたが、正直、使い物にならないです。試し書きをしてから買わないといけないことを学ばせてくれたことに意味があったように思います。ハンズに行こうと思いました。

The colours are nice and bright! Gave 4/5 stars because it took a bit to get markers flowing and they started to leak from the seam where the shaft and the tip hub meet after one use.
