Best boots I've ever owned
This is my second pair. Bought to replace my first pair since they were on sale, but the first pair are still rocking, as you can see in the pictures. I'm breaking in the new pair as back-ups. They were comfortable since the day I first put them on, and become even more comfortable with time. My feet never hurt, or get wet in them. The toe box is nice and wide, yet my feet feel secure in them. The leather is super tough and the outsole rubber very durable. I really like the look too. I see other people having quality issues with them, but my first pair are still in great shape after 2+ years, wearing 48 hours a week as an electrician. I think it's important to get the size that fits you properly to minimize stress on the materials. Anyways, I'll keep buying this boot as long as they're still making them, and the quality stays the same.

My first (of many) pair of Keens
Let me preface this review by summing up the rest of the review in three words: These. Things. Rock!I purchased a size 10.5 pair of these Friday, May 8th of this year and selected Saturday delivery, for no other reason than I was excited to get them. They arrived first thing the next morning and I immediately tried them on. I made a trip to Cabela's a week before to try on several pairs of different boots and this was the pair I settled on because they were amazingly comfortable and had awesome amounts of support. They fit just as expected, both at Cabela's and in my living room.My previous pair of steel toes were 6" boots and I believe these are 8", so it took a bit if shoelace adjustment for me to find a comfort zone that allowed me to get the full range of motion in my ankle due to the higher boot height. The good thing is that the top three sets of shoelace eyelets let you almost "lock" the lace in place - meaning you could leave the laces over your foot as loose as you like, tighten the upper ankle laces as tight as you like (or vice versa and anywhere in between) and it'll stay that way! There was a small break in period due to the stiffer, taller uppers, but after about a week of constant wear, I didn't notice any discomfort. I recently sprained my ankle so the extra support is welcome at the moment. I work 6 days a week and I'm on my feet for anywhere between 8-10 hours each day and I feel like I have SO much more energy left at the end of the day with these boots than with my previous set of Timberland Pro's. To be fair to Timberland, my old pair is about one or two years old now and saw the same 6 day work weeks as these boots will. But I don't remember my Tims EVER being this cozy. I work as an industrial/mechanic/research and development tech type position and I'm always climbing, kneeling, squatting, balancing on ledges, crawling around, and even using my steel toes as hammers from time to time. These things have held up perfectly so far (it's only been two weeks). The OTHER reason I purchased this particular pair of work boots was because I was looking for an aggressive tread pattern so that I could also use them as a pair of heavy duty hiking boots. When I tried them on at Cabela's, the tread pattern appeared far beyond any of the others in off-road traction (is this a tire review or ...?) This past Memorial Day weekend (God Bless our Fallen Heroes), I took them camping/hiking for the first time. Our campsite was along a river bank, up a steep, loose dirt hill. Both descending and ascending the hill, I was BLOWN AWAY by how much grip these Keens had!! The incline was beyond 45 degrees, probably closer to 50-ish, and aside from hauling my 200 lb self up a 100% grade, it was a breeze! Even with my sprained ankle at about 80% healed, I could gingerly make it up and down the hill without a single slip. And once we made it down to the river to fill up our water bottles, I decided to try out how waterproof they are. Standing in ankle deep water, my socks were bone dry. After about 3 or 4 minutes of standing in the river, I thought I had a leak, because my feet started to cool off, but it was just temperature of the river water finally making it through the boot. Not a drop made it through!I am VERY VERY pleased with the performance of this boot. I'm not sure I could ask for a better performing boot. The reason I only gave it four stars was because of the looks. They are a bit clunky looking, even for a pair of steel-toed work boots. I'm not a huge fan of the rubber over-toe protection, but I admit this will add more shoe protection and essentially longer life to the shoes. Also, my pair had some extra glue seeping out behind said rubber over-toe, which was a bit unsightly, but again, I'd rather have a little extra glue to make sure the toe will last than have not enough glue and have them fall apart. All in all, these boots are heavenly. I'm not a trend-setter anyways, so the aesthetics of the boot don't bother me very much, especially with the performance of these things. My recommendation? BUY BUY BUY. Thanks Keen! I'll be seeing you again soon!

Don’t listen to the hater’s…
Had these bad boys for three months now and still amazing how comfortable and well made these boots are. Keeps my feet dry and protects from just about everything. I put some cruv heal insoles for a better feel and because I have a bad back. Second best pair of boots I’ve worn.

Excellent overall, buuuut
A couple of things...these "new" boots came with scuff marks that lead me to believe they, in fact, are not new. Also, I did have to get a size up.However, they are super comfortable. The extra weight isn't bad. They don't get crazy hot like some boots. The toe room is really nice and they're high quality! I wear them for 12 hour shifts where I'm constantly on my feet.

Long lasting quality
I work in a machine shop, there’s coolant, metal chips, grinding dust, etc. These boots have lasted me 3 years which is three times the longevity of other work boots I’ve purchased. And they’re still quite comfortable! Did have to replace the laces, that’s the only issue I’ve had. Can’t recommend enough!!

Nice Quality
Comfortable and seem to be well made. I find the steel toe to be a bit narrow so they rub the big toe a bit and can get slightly irritating by the end of the day.

Great work boots, very comfortable
I heard these were good boots from coworkers so I decided to purchase these badboys. I got one size bigger for better fit in case I need to wear wool socks or similar. The boots were comfy cozy from day one, no problems at all. I wear these boots 8 hours a day and do plenty of walking and lifting ( I work in the steel and metal trades) and at the end of the day, my tender tootsies are happy as clams. I'm very pleased with my boot purchase
