These are the perfect size for carrying loose teas in your lunch bag or for out of town trips. Each tin only holds enough for 2-3 cups of tea, but the seal is tight & the tins are very sturdy. They worked great for office gifts, where I could give a sample of different teas along with a mug/cup. I would definitely buy them again. These are NOT large enough to store ounces of tea, so if you’re looking to store a large quantity...this is not your tin.

Perfect for 2 oz loose tea. Air tight to keep tea fresher longer. Just was I was looking for. They fit in my drawer under my coffee and tea bar.

We weigh our espresso beans before each grind and brew. I was looking for an air-tight / light-tight way to pre-measure and store our espresso beans for convenience. I was worried these would be too small, but the 18oz fit perfectly in the small size of these containers. Whether they're completely air-tight, I don't know, but I think they probably are. I may order another set so I can pre-measure 10 at a time - a week's worth. Plus, they're cute!

Unboxing these, I noticed they were rusted at the seams. I am really surprised after all of the good reviews posted here. The reviews also said they were airtight/good for carrying tea. That is exactly why I got them. There is no gasket component or ‘lock’ to create any kind of seal. It’s just all metal on metal. I’m sure the lids stays put for trinkets and such, but it’s not suitable for maintaining tea freshness for any real length of time. Bummer.

Bought these to store hommade tea. So far so good.
