XK Glow KS-MOTO-STANDARD Standard Chrome App Controlled Light Kit

So i installed my xkglow led kit yesterday. The kit is amazing, it's all simply Plug and Play, and the kid has more than enough wiring to get the job done. I think it also has wire fasteners to hold down any loose wires. The installation took me 3 and a half almost 4 hours. When complete the kid looks amazing I highly recommend 6pod/6 strip or 12 lights for anyone riding a sportbike with fairings. The music sync option is really cool you have to play with the sensitivity to your liking other than that the kits has a red wire to tap into the brake light wire so that when you come to a stop all colored lights become solid red turning the entire bike into a brake light. If you get this kit do your best to use all the options at hand it has more than enough. If I knew what I knew now I would have wired my bike slightly different. The kit has two zones so you can do your engine bay one color and your front and rear wheels another or you could do like I did and have the left side one color and the right side another color, you can also sync both zones at the same time and allow for one color of your choice but the kit is capable of doing so much more. I hope my review helps, ive attached a few pics the pictures do not do the kit any justice due to all of the features and yes it is extremely bright. Lastly, if you do decide to add more lights later you can. Being that the kid is plug-and-play you just purchase additional lights for this kid love them up and you're good to go.

This item was purchased as a gift for my wife. She LOVES it!I purchased this item because of the ability to change colors and she wouldn't be locked into only one color as other kits would do.She has a '16 HD street 500 and this kit gave me enough pods and strips to do a great job on it.Installation was pretty easy, although it took me quite awhile. This was NOT the fault of the product, but due to me trying to be perfect, trial fitting to get best light coverage, then installation with routing wires an hiding lights.The app that can be downloaded is awesome! It allows so much customization of the lighting, in color, brightness plus more! The app not only allows you to control the color of the lights and brightness, but allows you to have 2 different 'channels' of lighting the allow you to have the bike in 2 different colors at the same time (i installed the engine lights on 1 channel and the fender, under bike on a second channel), colors can pulse with music from your phone, preprogrammed color changing loops, a 'breath' feature, plus MORE! (it's winter, so we haven't tried 'find my bike' and others)Another great feature is that you can connect these lights to your brake lights causing ALL your LED lights to turn red when you apply the brakes, turning your entire bike into one giant brake light at night for better visibility. This was not difficult to connect.the bad: i only have 2 complaints at this time, one is a small complaint and the other drives me crazy! first the small complaint is that this comes with a touch driven 'box' that is decent size that allows the user to change color by touching it instead of using the phone app. If using it or not, you have to decide where to 'hide' it or place it on your bike. This took some work to hide it as i find the phone app to be much more useful. The complaint that drive me crazy is that there is an attached on/off button to install. This button has a VERY bright BLUE led light that shines from it when the system is on. This light detracts from the rest of the lighting when the colors don't match! It is very noticeable and very out of place! most likely i will covering this LED with possibly nail polish or something similar.Lights on a bike are not my thing, but again this was a gift for xmas for my wife. After they were installed and snow was on the ground, my wife would drag visitors out to the garage to show them the bike.Note: The pics i have attached have a lot of glare from the floor, due to my garage floor being painted, but hopefully it will give you an idea of the looks that can be achieved.

Worked fine until my phone updated to Android 13.Now the app will no longer find the controller.EDIT: Now works again, they emailed me and told me to try it and it worked.The customer service was quick, the app is good and they obviously try to get fixes made asap.The hardware is also very good. Deffo recommend.

I am not good with wiring so I paid a local shop to install these for me, They got installed on my GSXR and my only complaint is that I wish they gave me some more strips for better all around lighting, the app worked great and connecting the lights to the app was easy, its been 4 years since they got installed and one of the strips have gone bad, I will most likely be reordering them and ill be making sure to order a few extra strips to go with it

Easy to install,looks great,brite and love the app.. it is really easy to use the app and glow it up!!

From box to bike and on the road in under two hours with a lot of talking in between. Great product and great lighting. Will be adding some extra strips in some spots just cause. Would buy this again and a few of my buddies are going to buy because the why my bike turned out.

Easy to install. Be sure to stage you setup prior to finalizing with the 3M. Test everything out before the staging. The app is awesome also! Tons of color options amd and modes! Way better than expected!
