what is the weight of the chair?

It is satisfactory. Contact Amazon, maybe they can ask seller. I don't know the weight anymore than you do. I read same description. I find it lightweight.

I don’t think their is a stated weight limit but I wouldn’t place anyone over 275 on one of them. The chairs are very low and a little hard to get out of if you have a mobility issue.

How many inches from the seat to the ground?

I am 6ft and it's not to low for me.

Are these chairs considered home & garden

This chair is more for outdoors or garden use. Beware, this chair is not adult size. I am 5'3" @127#'s and it was too small for me to sit. I returned immediately, This Quik chair is KID SIZED.
