What a G-d Send for Restrictive Diets! Its AIP, Gluten Free Etc. BUT TASTE LIKE WHOLE WHEAT!!!
I've been baking this bread mix and all the other Truly AIP mixes for a few years. It may seem expensive for one mix , but it produces a really nice loaf of bread to cut up and store! Well worth it in my opinion for clean and healthy. I tend to bake it a little longer (15 mins more) and the trick is to let it cool off completely so the bread sets and there is a nice crumb before slicing and toasting. I usually slice and freeze individual slices. It tastes like whole wheat bread. I use seltzer instead of kombucha or water. I've also added honey and raisins and it is DELICIOUS...just like honey whole wheat raisin bread!!! Make sure to go on the Truly AIP website...it has so many nice recipes. BTW, if you are AIP or gluten free, etc. and feel like you are deprived for Thanksgiving without stuffing, make the stuffing recipe on the site! My gluten eating family can not tell! I make the loaf ahead of time, cut it up into cubes and dry out on a sheet pan. Then I just cook it up like you would any stuffing recipe.

Ok
Taste was somewhat odd. Did not bake all the way through based on the instructions. I do think the texture is better than most grain free breads. I found it fine to eat but probably wouldn't buy again.

This mix is too carby for me, the "bread" tastes like cardboard (kept in fridge and toasted slices). The recipe was easy enough, but I'm allergic to both kombucha (I don't think the vinegar thing works as well) and coconut, so this was a bad idea. I'm going off AIP because it's too depressing - too many AIP friendly products involve coconut. Going back to regular gluten free, low carb, hi protein eating. Best of luck, this product is not worth the calories nor price.

So easy to prepare and not many ingredients needed!
I make it with water, little apple cider vinegar and a little avocado oil. VERY quick to mix. very good AIP bread. Just a little pricey. Wish you could get a price break for buying in quantity.

Real bread texture and easy to make!
This product is fantastic. I have baked so many AIP bread recipes or mixes and nothing before has been as easy or turned out so well. I used one 12 ounce can of kombucha and just added 3 ounces of water. As you can see from the picture, the loaf turned out well formed. It tastes fantastic (yes, it doesn’t taste like regular gluten bread, but it’s a great neutral taste). Baking was easy. After 55 minutes, it was done – no gooeyness in the middle, which is amazing for AIP bread!! It cut easily and does not fall apart. Basically just a wonderful product!!

Proposition 65 Warning
When I received this item I just put it away along with all the other grocery items I purchased. On 10 Aug I pull this item out to make waffles for breakfast. To my surprise there was a sticker small attached to it indicating "California Proposition 65 Warning"! I'm trying to eat healthy and use products that will help my Autoimmune to stay under control not get worse or develop another or worse ailment! When I went back to the website to see if there was any type of warning (especially in the "important information" section I didn't see anything the warning and when I looked at returning the item the return date ended on 2 Aug.Nothing in the list of ingredients sounded harmful except maybe Cream of Tartar. I'm out of $15 I spend on AIP All-Purpose Baking Mix plus the $14 I spent on AIP Rustic bread mix. Unhappy!!

Missing out no more!
This bread is a staple for the AIP diet! I missed bread so much and this helps so you DNT feel like your missing out. It is costly for just the one loaf, but it did last me over 2 weeks by freezing slices. However, It did take me almost 2 hours to bake. The middle was just so mushy and gummy. I couldn’t get it cook throughly and I DNT know why. I used 14oz of plain kombucha. But I gave up and popping them in the toaster for 3 minutes cooked the middle well enough.. I love this bread with some palm shortening and apple cinnamon spread from St. Dalfour. Such a good breakfast option and filling!
