For that, you need a good quality wax. **Q: will this remove softned finish from a pine desk top or watermarks from cabinet doors?** A: It won't remove the finish it wont strip the finish. It will blend with the existing finish and create a Restoration of the existing finish. Watermarks yes....as you read the product description I believe, there is mention of watermarks. I love the product and have used it on Kitchen cabinets, furniture, real wood hardwood flooring. I keep it on hand. I know antique dealers who swear by it. Hope this helps. **Q: Will it work on teak?** A: Didn't work on oak so I don't know. **Q: I have a solid rosewood table i inherited with sun damage / heat stains .:. will this work? color suggestions?** A: I used it on old teak insider our boat cabin. The wood was very dry and dull. I lightly sanded with steel wool, wiped it clean and then applied as directed. It looks much better but it did not correct water marks. On those I tried to add a little stain. Overall our wood looks far better. I bought the mahogany and cherry to test for color. I would try it on a spot that is least visible.
